Andreas and Sylvia run Paravatos Studios 2 like a tight ship. Their premises is located just outside of Naxos town, but Andreas happily picked us up at the port; even though our ferry was delayed by a half hour, he was waiting for us. After a short car journey, we were shown around our apartment.||The apartment was spotless and moderate in size. Theres a balcony with a table and chairs; it was quite windy during my visit, so I didn't get much of an opportunity to make the most of it). There's some storage and a small cooking area. Breakfast is available if you request it in advance (price is similar to most restaurants in Naxos; from âŹ6 to âŹ8). There's also a pool/lounge area if you fancy lying about.||Andreas and Sylvia are available for anything you need. The room was thoroughly cleaned daily and towels were changed. Andreas even drove us to a supermarket and to pick up our rental car on our second day! They embody service with a smile. ||As for the area, Paravatos Studios 2 is located beside a small beach just outside of Naxos town. There are no services in the immediate area, but there is the lovely town of Agios Prokopios to the south (approx 2km). Here you'll be spoilt for choice with places to eat and beaches to relax. It takes approx 45 mins to walk into Naxos town, so getting some form of transport is advised. Driving around Naxos is slightly daunting, as many of the more isolated roads (in the North especially) are tight. Most of the smaller villages have only enough room for one car, yet they are two way streets. Still, a car/bike is the only way to experience all the island has to offer. ||Overall Andreas and Sylvia made our stay extremely pleasant and if I find myself in Naxos again, I will...

My wife and I recently stayed at Naxos Cave Suites, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. From the moment we arrived until our departure, everything exceeded our expectations.

Read moreWhere to start ! Naxos is a beautiful island and our visit was made all the better by John and Mary. The hospitality was second to none, and it started before we even arrived. Mary responded very quickly to our questions and the communication was fantastic throughout.
Naxos Cave Suites is set outside the Chora (approximately a 10 minutes drive). It is definitely necessary to have a car anywhere on Naxos in my opinion, as some of the highlights of the trip were the scenic drives (mountain and coastal drives!). Check in was smooth, having been collected from the port and chauffered to the hotel. The tourist information and recommendations provided were invaluable, including places to visit, places to eat, timings and logistics. Mary kindly organised a rental car for us to be delivered to the hotel. It was waiting for us the next morning!
The place itself is wonderfully decorated with incredible attention to detail, as mentioned in a previous review. The room we stayed in had a lovely balcony for a nice end of day beer or a morning coffee. The bed was comfortable, room was air-conditioned.
The breakfast area was just outside the rooms, in an outdoor setting (appropriately shaded from the summer sun!). Food was ample and good quality, with something different every day coupled with excellent service.
I highly recommend Naxos Cave Suites for those visiting Naxos. Thank you John and Mary for a...
