Let’s start from the beginning. My husband and I stayed at this Hotel from september 21st to 28th, one week in a tour package (Ryanair flights Bologna to Mykonos, Sea Jet transfers to and from the island and ground services) from the italian tour operator EDEN VIAGGI. We had a Bed and Breakfast accommodation arrangement. From Italy, well before our booking, our Agency Millepiedi asked for a TWO SEPARATE BEDS (twin) to the tour operator AND the Hotel (we had an e-mail - september 5th- answering from Mrs. Leonie Drakouli of sales department telling they can arrange for the 2 beds). This was our only and indispensable request about our stay. |Trip began early morning, around 7 p.m. we finally arrived at the desk of the Hotel. The guy at the reception said ok two beds, came with us to the room (supposed to be a Junior Suite sea view)|only to stare in front of a very small king bed in a tiny room (definitely NOT a suite), with nothing else that a bed, a table, no furniture and a small bathroom. No space for a second bed to adjoin. the room was like 10 sqm|He phoned to someone (his boss?) who answered that they made confusion and so, with this MISUNDERSTANDING, we should stay there for one or maybe two nights, then move to our |original suite. We asked if the suite was occupied, he said no, but now it’s not available, tomorrow possibly will be ok (they surely had no housekeeping in the evening, I suspect they simply did not have the suite ready for us). So I ask for an upgrade, the guy said ok but just for a day, because that will be the HONEYMOON SUITE, and bet on it? Yes you win: after a day we should move away. At the end of this long and tiring “managing” of the problem I agreed to DOWNGRADE in an old and poor accommodation (not a SUITE , the furniture dating 40+ years ago, bathroom in urgent need of renovation, lamp on a bed broken during the whole period).|BUT 2(two) single beds. We had to make up ourselves the beds, the following day nobody from the housekeeping made up our room, and when the 3 day they did, they changed the linen only half week, but again WE made up our beds. Every day change of towels, ok but in terms of service I rate this Hotel as VERY POOR (3 stars, but no more than 1 in my opinion). The day following our arrival, a lady from the desk went to us with a fantasy about “two poor italian young guests who had a bike accident, so they were at the Hospital and how they could possibly put them out of their suite (OUR SUITE NAMELY) in a problem like this?”. We did not discuss this issue, make believe!|The in room WI-FI was totally a mess, it was working 10% of the day. In the small and old kitchen|we found a really poor cooking ware! |We taste their cooking on arrival (really poor) and the day after we hurried to rent a car (in order to reach good restaurants of the island). The breakfast was average. The pool too small, even for september's few guests. I have to say that they provide a car on spot, at a really reasonable price (we will discover at the end of our stay that they wanted all the amount IN CASH, |that we refused). The location of their premise, in Stelida, is far from everywhere, much better to choose a place close to a shore spot, with mini markets, shops, cafes and restaurants reachable by feet.| On the island there are plenty alike, with more confort even in 3 stars range. And a lot of 4 stars! We payed for a very poor room in a really poor hotel the price of a 4 star city center in|Agio Prokopios or Agia Anna. Worse: we payed for a junior suite and we had to accept to stay in a|bad room worth 40 euros per night, in order not to move back and forth in 6 night with all our stuff.|It was our first time in Naxos, the island is beautiful, the sea and beaches wonderful, but in |a next visit: same island,...
Read moreThat was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Service was horrible, did not take us seriously, neither the kids or the adults. The whole crew were laughing and disrespectful. The room we booked had absolutely nothing to do with the one they wanted to give us. After we tried to complain about it they gave us a bigger room but it was dirty. It had horrible bed stains that stank and the beds weren’t dressed probably. On top of the mattress there was a thin bedsheet that was dirty as well. On the master bedroom we found an insect underneath the sheet. Furthermore the bathroom facilities weren’t working completely. The closing of the door was broken, the shower only dropped a couple of water drops and they had one 10ml champoo for 5 people ( the bottle was halfway empty). The pool was not blue like it is shown in the pictures, it is green and has sea plants in it. There are no words that can explain how disappointed my kids and me are. We booked 1 day and we completely spend it trying to search for other hotels. All of the other reviews are fake and not true at all. The hotel is not 300 meters away from the beach and the installations are anything but modern. Big disappointment, my kids had the worst time. Do not recommend please choose another hotel if your...
Read moreI haven't been in other hotels on Naxos, but I can say definitely that it has several advantages:
big GREEN territory with many kinds of flowers and trees. There's a such delightful atmosphere and easy breath!
Marvelous (Giorgio, it's your word) sea view from the balcony on the second floor.
Tasty and huge meals made of the best local products
Cozy and spacious rooms with all amenities
Good location in 17 minutes from Agios Prokopios, the best beach you have ever been, and in 15 minutes from both airport and Chora port.
Open and hospital staff. My dear Rania and Georgio, you made our days on Naxos! You were real friends for us and always helped! You are true professionals of the hospitality industry. Thanks for everything! Also I want to thank Victoria for your pleasant smile and quick service. Special greetings and applause for two ladies Katerina and Kiriaki who cooked all delicious food for us these days. We are more than happy! And of course I should mention the owner of hotel, Mr. Mikhalis Karampatsis. Thanks that you meet us at the port after 2 hours of delay and...
