I paid rather than move vowing not to spend another euro in the hotel - we had intended to go to their greek bbq night and would have spent lots at the bar of an evening but instead spent our money elsewhere which wasn't much of a sacrifice given the food & service up to that point were only just okay and below average for the area.||Our issue wasn't the charge itself but the fact you're never made aware that a charge exists so come on owners get a basic sign-up and/or include this 'policy' charge on hotel notice board and/or info in the room without which it's difficult not to conclude this is a deliberate scam to rip off already paying guests as short sighted as that sounds given the owners would ultimately take many more euros and get better reviews by making this...

Observations: The pool is open to guests of the sister hotel just a few yards away as well as the general public which means the pool is always busy and can be noisy at times with large groups playing music etc although sunbeds were always available during our stay in peak season. The food & service is okay but below average for the area so we always went to the hotel directly next door or El Greco taverna a few yards away both of which offer much better service & quality.
Bad: Whilst the pool and bar area are fastidiously cleaned daily the actual sunbeds, their small tables and cushions were never cleaned once during our 11-night stay and were filthy. The hotel's beach area was also filthy with what looked like weeks and weeks worth of litter in amongst the sand with neither the hotel and/or the local authority services ever raking/cleaning the beach during our stay. Read moreJust back from a lovely stay at the Beach star apartments, travelled as a family me my husband and our children 18 and 16. Firstly the location is fantastic right on the beach, the beach is mainly sand quite narrow with lovely shallow water you can swim quite far our, just a short 10 minute walk along the beach road on to the strip where you will find all the bars restaurants and shops very quiet at night where the hotel is located, we had room on the 3rd floor with a balcony looking out over the pool and sea such a lovely view. The rooms are normal basic greek style which is what we are used to and fine with, we were bed and breakfast you just order what you want from the breakfast menu the food we had was lovely, drinks and snacks at the bar were very reasonable, the pitta gyros was lovely and very reasonably priced the staff are lovely and work hard.|the walk into the main part of sidari is 10 minutes max along the way is a couple of mini markets and several really nice restaurants you then turn right on to the main strip where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and the normal touristy shops the beach continues along the strip where at the start is a watersports place you can do all the usual jetskiing, ringos parasending etc.|we were looking for a cheap and cheerful relaxing holiday to lounge by the beach and pool where we could easily get to town for a few drinks at night and the beach start and Sidari was perfect for this.......Thankyou for a...
