AVOID! Not recommended! One additional star just for location which is really nice and rural so its not for everybody. Have no idea where to start so just will mention the things which did shock us. On a rainy day the roof started to leak and water was coming into our room making a small river on the floor. It would end up tragically because the water ran directly to a 240V sockets and then the floor - being barefoot you'd be dead in a second... We did report it... have a guess what lady in reception said? "Water, OK put some towels on the floor...". That's it! If you plan to use their "self catering" - think twice. One fork, one spoon, some glass, one small pan, small old frying pan and... THAT electric hob! Making crumble eggs took longer than going to a restaurant, eat a breakfast and return... No worktop at all, so not a chance to prepare a meal easily - we used a small dresser in a corner of the room or additional sofa (yeah, I know...). Dirt in the bathroom, wardrobe not possible to use because of damp (in August, mid of Summer!!!), pillows with yellow stains, yuck... They charge extra for the aircon, as I remember 5 Euro a day. Good bits: Parking is free. Location is great, quiet with nice views Nice swimming pool area

We stayed at Beach star September 2024 and we loved it. The rooms are somewhat dated but that doesn’t bother us. Our view was beautiful it looked out onto the green with the poolside in the distance and sea beyond that. The staff and the owner are very friendly very helpful nothing was too much of a problem. There’s a young Albianian boy works behind the bar he’s name Franchesco he’s so adorable and very friendly. They serve a selection of food we had a full English breakfast one day and then we had special omelette with salad a few mornings too. We also had cheese burger and chips and we thought the food was very satisfactory price wise was reasonable too between €7-€8 euros for a breakfast or burger and chips and 2 half a lagers with lime was €6 euros. We loved staying there and we want to go back to Corfu next year and hopefully stay at Beach Star

Haven’t stayed at the hotel HOWEVER the Beach Star Bar on the beachfront is great. Friendly, helpful, free WiFi and swimming pool and have a lovely breakfast menu. Full English plus tea/coffee/juice + an omelette with side salad came to €15. Affordable and delicious, particularly the omelette and the sausage. Will return for sure!

Good:|Fantastic sea view from the room(304).|Good-sized pool practically in the sea with sun beds always available any time of day even at peak times.|Rooms are cleaned daily & new towels are provided every time old ones left in a pile.|Rooms are basic but other than great air con(5 euro/day), free safe, double glazed balcony doors, good pressure albeit in the oddly designed shower/bath and modern fridge what else do you want or need.|Quiet after 11:30 pm till morning.|Away from the noise and busyness of the strip yet close enough to easily walk there and beyond to Canal D'amour where in our view all the best tavernas are located.||Observations:|The pool is open to guests of the sister hotel just a few yards away as well as the general public which means the pool is always busy and can be noisy at times with large groups playing music etc although sunbeds were always available during our stay in peak season.|The food & service is okay but below average for the area so we always went to the hotel directly next door or El Greco taverna a few yards away both of which offer much better service & quality.| |Bad:|Whilst the pool and bar area are fastidiously cleaned daily the actual sunbeds, their small tables and cushions were never cleaned once during our 11-night stay and were filthy.|The hotel's beach area was also filthy with what looked like weeks and weeks worth of litter in amongst the sand with neither the hotel and/or the local authority services ever raking/cleaning the beach during our stay.|Our biggest gripe was the sunbeds on the hotels beach area incur a 5 euro charge per bed even for guests of the hotel and even if purchasing drinks and snacks from pool bar and worst still none of this information is available on signs and/or hotels information/notice board or website etc making this a bit of a scam i.e. the staff wait an hour or so until you and your family are fully settled in what you assume given no information otherwise are free to use beach sunbeds for guests as is the case for poolside sunbeds before shouting 5 euro per sunbed at you and when challenged the reply is "'hotel policy' either pay or move to free sunbeds at pool" - this "hotel policy" is not available to read anywhere even when requested from the staff - what a short sighted and disgusting way to treat paying guests. I paid rather than move vowing not to spend another euro in the hotel - we had intended to go to their greek bbq night and would have spent lots at the bar of an evening but instead spent our money elsewhere which wasn't much of a sacrifice given the food & service up to that point were only just okay and below average for the area.||Our issue wasn't the charge itself but the fact you're never made aware that a charge exists so come on owners get a basic sign-up and/or include this 'policy' charge on hotel notice board and/or info in the room without which it's difficult not to conclude this is a deliberate scam to rip off already paying guests as short sighted as that sounds given the owners would ultimately take many more euros and get better reviews by making this...

Good: Fantastic sea view from the room(304). Good-sized pool practically in the sea with sun beds always available any time of day even at peak times. Rooms are cleaned daily & new towels are provided every time old ones left in a pile. Rooms are basic but other than great air con(5 euro/day), free safe, double glazed balcony doors, good pressure albeit in the oddly designed shower/bath and modern fridge what else do you want or need. Quiet after 11:30 pm till morning. Away from the noise and busyness of the strip yet close enough to easily walk there and beyond to Canal D'amour where in our view all the best tavernas are located.

Observations: The pool is open to guests of the sister hotel just a few yards away as well as the general public which means the pool is always busy and can be noisy at times with large groups playing music etc although sunbeds were always available during our stay in peak season. The food & service is okay but below average for the area so we always went to the hotel directly next door or El Greco taverna a few yards away both of which offer much better service & quality.

Bad: Whilst the pool and bar area are fastidiously cleaned daily the actual sunbeds, their small tables and cushions were never cleaned once during our 11-night stay and were filthy. The hotel's beach area was also filthy with what looked like weeks and weeks worth of litter in amongst the sand with neither the hotel and/or the local authority services ever raking/cleaning the beach during our stay. Our biggest gripe was the sunbeds on the hotels beach area incur a 5 euro charge per bed even for guests of the hotel and even if purchasing drinks and snacks from pool bar and worst still none of this information is available on signs and/or hotels information/notice board or website etc making this a bit of a scam i.e. the staff wait an hour or so until you and your family are fully settled in what you assume given no information otherwise are free to use beach sunbeds for guests as is the case for poolside sunbeds before shouting 5 euro per sunbed at you and when challenged the reply is "'hotel policy' either pay or move to free sunbeds at pool" - this "hotel policy" is not available to read anywhere even when requested from the staff - what a short sighted and disgusting way to treat paying guests. Just back from a lovely stay at the Beach star apartments, travelled as a family me my husband and our children 18 and 16. Firstly the location is fantastic right on the beach, the beach is mainly sand quite narrow with lovely shallow water you can swim quite far our, just a short 10 minute walk along the beach road on to the strip where you will find all the bars restaurants and shops very quiet at night where the hotel is located, we had room on the 3rd floor with a balcony looking out over the pool and sea such a lovely view. The rooms are normal basic greek style which is what we are used to and fine with, we were bed and breakfast you just order what you want from the breakfast menu the food we had was lovely, drinks and snacks at the bar were very reasonable, the pitta gyros was lovely and very reasonably priced the staff are lovely and work hard.|the walk into the main part of sidari is 10 minutes max along the way is a couple of mini markets and several really nice restaurants you then turn right on to the main strip where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and the normal touristy shops the beach continues along the strip where at the start is a watersports place you can do all the usual jetskiing, ringos parasending etc.|we were looking for a cheap and cheerful relaxing holiday to lounge by the beach and pool where we could easily get to town for a few drinks at night and the beach start and Sidari was perfect for this.......Thankyou for a...
