The beach is busy and noisy. Bar owners/staff have not much interest in helping people. It is a tourist-must avoid beach lol. Overpriced excursion agencies for sure. The rocks by the end of the beach create beautiful views. If you manage to walk on it, it's stunning! We didn't stay long.

Corfu is an exclusion of friendly Greek host. The island is filled with charter tours. I personally is disappointed by the way it is here. Have been to Athen, Santorini, Rhodos, Kreta, Santorini. None of listed above will keep me from revisiting. But Corfu is!

The whole island is quite down, bumpy, curly narrow roads which make you worry if you can make it. No traffic rules. The 4 star hotel we stay with is an assault to other even 2 starred Hotels in other part if the world. You can not flash the toilet paper and so much on.

Like if you are looking for beach staying there are other places with friendly locals in Greece. If you are here for culture there are other places as well. So why Corfu? Expensive, uncomfortable and unfriendly.

No, not...

City Sidari, once a charming haven in Greece, has unfortunately become a stark representation of how tourism can go awry. The picturesque allure of this destination is marred by the influx of British tourists, particularly those reliant on benefits, whose behavior often reflects poorly on the locale. The nightly scene is dominated by drunk couples indulging in subpar music, stripping away the serene and authentic Greek atmosphere. The Greeks, known for their hospitality, are left to manage this onslaught, which undoubtedly impacts their quality of life and their cultural pride. It's a shame to see such a beautiful part of Greece tainted by the actions of a few, detracting from its natural and...

The worst beach i' ve ever been. It's a small, narrow, short beach with really very shallow water far away from the coast what makes impossible to swimm really. Water is dirty and muddy, lots of seaweed at the coast and in the bottom of the sea, mud when u get deeper. In the other side of the beach, rocks in the bottom covered with mud. There are many pedal boats and speed boats all along the coast which leaves only small spots where u can dip into the water. Its overcrowded with tourists, obese families mostly. U can find several beach bars and tavernas with tasty meal and very nice employes everywhere, what is only plus. If u like to swimm in clear sea water and to have a calm day at the beach...

I wasn't expecting much compared to Canal d'Amour, but I was surprised. Sidari Beach is a scenic, sandy beach with great views over the Ioanian. Further up the beach, you can see the rock formations that make up the D'Amour beach. It does get busy since it's closer to the main strip, though it's quite a large beach, so you shouldn't struggle for a space. A little run down in certain parts (some litter and exposed wiring near a building), but it didn't ruin the experience. The sea is actually quite warm at this beach! Plenty of bars/restaurants back onto the beach.
