Melina Bay Boutique Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We really enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent and the facilities perfectly met our needs. Our room was 209 on the 2nd floor and it gave us an outstanding view over Kassiopi Harbour. The room was adequate in size with reasonable storage, although the bathroom was a tad on the small size. There's also a significant lip stepping into the bathroom and my wife took a tumble accidentally. Thanks to Katrina for her wonderful assistance in arranging for the local village doctor to check her out. Fortunately, apart from some bruising, she was fine. I do think this step up into the bathroom is a little design flaw, but despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The breakfast was great and offered plenty of hot and cold choices. There is perhaps not as wide as choice as you might get in larger hotel breakfast buffets, but a major drawing point of this hotel is its small scale and personal service coupled with a fantastic location, with shops and restaurants literally on your doorstep step. We also ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings when we had been on trips and didn't want to venture too far. The food was very good and offered great value, as MelinaBay guests get 10% off food prices in the hotel restaurant and also next door in the Katoi restaurant. Just returned from our third stay at Melina Bay. This is a gem of a hotel on the harbour sitting in an ideal position with easy access to all the nearby bars, restaurants, boutiques etc. We had a sea view room on the first floor as usual which gives you the most awesome view of not only the boats and yachts coming and going, but the mountains of Albania, and the ever changing light. Rooms at Melina are spacious and well equipped and very comfortable beds and pillows. Breakfast is top quality with lots of choices, both English and Greek dishes (which change each day). The breakfast room looks out onto the harbour so it’s always breakfast with a view. Poolside side food is of a good quality and jf you wish to eat in the hotel at night, the food and drinks are really good. The one thing, however, that sets this hotel apart from some others is the excellent client service by every member of staff. Nothing is too much trouble and if there are any small issues, these are rectified literally within minutes. The team are managed by the very capable and funny Gina, along with Katerina, Mario, Ioakeim, Lacey and Maria. This is a wonderful hotel, with stunning views over the harbour (obviously if you book a harbour view room).|Our room was spacious and well equipped, with a fridge and plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Housekeeping was excellent. |The location is absolutely perfect with plenty of bars and restaurants around. In fact a 10 minute walk will take you to any of the venues in Kassiopi.|The pool is small but the views more than make up for it. We had no problem getting sunbeds every day and the complimentary towels are a nice touch.|Breakfast was plentiful - fresh and well put out, and available until 11am if you fancy a lie in! The bar - again with the fabulous views - is very well stocked as is the bar next door (Katoi). Melina Bay guests enjoy a 10% discount there on food, highly recommended.|The staff are great, friendly and helpful. We went with Jet2 and it was good to be collected by car at the drop off point, and taken back when leaving. Really appreciated our cases being carried up/down the stairs as well!|Only one very small issue was the shower screen stopped halfway so the bathroom floor did get quite wet - but that's the only negative I can think of.|Kassiopi is a lovely resort and this hotel is...
