Wave Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of Northern Corfu

Shockingly bad customer service. This restaurant should be part of a customer service training course to show people how NOT to do it because it's astonishingly bad.

Went for breakfast it was reasonably quiet when we arrived. Ordered orange juices, scrambled eggs and omelette. It took about 20 minutes for our orange juices to arrive. While we were waiting a group of about 10 people arrived from a boat and sat behind. We watched a group of 4 arrive at the table next to us. They waited about 15 minutes before they left because the waiters hadn't even acknowledged them. While that was happening another group of 4 arrived and did the same. These tables hadn't even had a "hello, I'll be with you in a minute from the waiter." We asked where our food was and the waiter was polite but said they were busy. It weren't that busy. He was just strolling back and forth. There was no urgency to serve the tables. It seems there's people in the bars and kitchens but nobody is getting served.

Eventually we said we would leave after waiting almost an hour and they were happy for us to go. They didn't bat an eyelid that they were losing custom or that we might disappointed or hungry or annoyed. There was no attempt to keep our business or rescue the situation. A Disappointing Experience at Wave Bar at Kassiopi I recently sat with some friends to have deserts and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Here are the lowlights: Lack of Hospitality: The staff seemed disinterested and unwelcoming. There was no warm greeting or effort to make guests feel comfortable. Stressed Employees: It was evident that the employees were under pressure. They rushed around, and their stress translated into poor service. Order Mix-Up: Our order was messed up. 2/3 dishes were not delivered properly. No Receipt: Surprisingly, we were not given an official receipt. We opted for card payment instead which resulted in the manager getting frustrated. Overpriced: Considering the subpar service and mix-up, the value for money is not as high as you would expect. Now, let’s talk about the one highlight: Location: The restaurant’s setting, right by the harbor and beneath an old castle, is undeniably picturesque. If you like feeling fancy while eating so so food this place is for you :) i can’t deny the outside is stunning but it’s clear that’s all the prices go to, and wait times are sad , bunch of other people who got sat 20 minutes after us got their food for way faster than us, that can happen sometimes but when we tried to kindly tell the waiter we got a quite frustrated response which definitely threw us off. it took another good 15 minutes for the food to come out and it really didn’t live up to the prices and atmosphere, the meats were ok (although the chicken in the salad was barely there and dry) but the salads had little to no taste and barely any dressing. It seemed as if the presentation was more important than the quality of the food which was not reflected in the price at all. if you don’t mind paying (in comparison to other small restaurants that are way cheaper) more for normal food on a pretty plate...
