Evita Bay Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

We have booked Evita Bay all-in for 2 weeks. I only describe what i personally observed myself.

First 2 days it was incredible loud until 2 am in the morning, music was coming from other hotel over the street. Even the music in the restaurant was far too loud and bad in the first 2 days, Good luck, this didn't continue for the next days. The outdoor area incl. the pools is rather nice, but the rest is not 4 star niveau. Restaurant: fried egg is cold, scrambled egg is disgusting, ham is lowest quality, no orange juice (i do not expect fresh sqeezed, but 100% juice is mandatory for 4 stars), butter missing in 50% of the days, glasses missing very often (only plastic cups available), white wine is too warm, no small tea spoons available (wooden sticks only), no espresso machine, meat quality poor, dishes rather the same all days. Salads are the only highlight. In the first 7 days we were asked only once if we would like to drink some beer or wine, the other days we always had to request for it.

Bar: incredibly bad, long drinks (Margarita, Tequila sunrise) have nothing to do with the original versions of them, they are served in 100 ml plastic cups, only if you complain you get larger plastic cups, Campari Orange which was listed on the menu wasn't available at all, although i requested and complained in the first days regularly. Wine from plastic cups tastes somehow chemical. Atmosphere not very inviting. If you want to enjoy some drinks in a nice atmosphere, forget the hotel bar and walk along the beach e.g. till Galazio bar & restaurant.

Room: 3 star maximum, electric wires hanging out of the wall, interior somehow provisory, at unlucky windy conditions at the balcony it smells like restaurant, fridge is filled with 3 bottles of water at the beginning and was never refilled. What is the need of an empty fridge? Fridge was incredible loud, we defrosted it ourselves, then it was ok. Safe was not working. Hairs and dust accumulated day by day in the bathroom. It seems there was no cleaning during our stay.

Yoga: lessons are given 3 days week. Cleaning of yoga mats is not existing, you are full of dust at the end of the lesson.

SUMMARY On vacation, my wife and I went to celebrate 10 years of marriage, during which we spent holidays with children in Croatia. It was our second experience with an all-inclusive holiday in Greece. At the closest opportunity, we will be happy to come back here. ACCOMODATION Rooms new, clean and modern furnished. Individually controlled air conditioning, TV with 30 stations, internet in rooms. On the beds quality mattresses and windows perfectly darkening curtains. I appreciated the modern wiring system, which turned off only after a minute after removing the card - enough time to comfortably leave the room. Shower without door, but with a good fall. The cabinets lacked shelves (they were only hangers), but we had a spare bed to store things. FOOD Food tasty, to choose from a variety of cold and warm food (delicious fish). Different fruits, as well as cakes, drinks and ice cream. Snack during the bottom and late evening at the lobby bar. HOTEL SERVICES The services provided have made our holiday special. Lovely personal, daily clean room, regular change of towels and bed linen ... Guest toilets next to the hotel's swimming pool. Special praise for Mr. Vangelis - restaurant manager - fulfilled every wish. Special praise for Mr. Lefteris - bartender in pool bar - the best mixed drinks I've ever drank. I believe that the hotel manager, who served guests in the restaurant during the peak, will keep these rare people in the coming seasons. BEACH For us TOP beach of the island of Rhodes. Sandy. Located on the leeward side of the island, clear sea despite the sand bottom. Very gradual and average entrance to the sea (40 m from the shore is 2m deep). Great for families and swimmers like us as well. Wooden promenade along the beach and showers for free. High-quality bedchairs with mattresses, table and umbrella are at the pool bar about 30 m from the sea and for hotel guests free of charge. LOCATION The hotel is located right next to the beach in a quiet part of the otherwise alive town of Faliraki, so we relaxed and slept very well. After poor health which has affected me permanently, I managed to save my disability allowance up for over 2 years to have the holiday advertised from your site. Upon arrival at Evita Bay Rhodes we was shown to our room which was over the road away from the hotel and over grass/mud. It looked like a bomb site we got into the room which smelt like chemicals and paint the bathroom wasn't finished and wires hanging out of the wall. We straight away went back to reception and complained and they managed to give us another room this one wasn't much better there was wires hanging out again and patio doors were broken meaning we couldn't lock it the manager said they would sort it the following day which they did do after asking multiple times, but we had to spend the night with an unlocked door which worried us with leaving our belongings for anyone to take during the day. |||| mis advertised the whole hotel on the description on your site. It was stated they have a safe yet there wasn't one in the room they told us it hadn't been installed in the room. They also said there was daily animation, entertainment, pool table and a games console there was none of this we even asked the hotel manager who informed us they don't do that or have any of that and not sure why you have advertised it when it isn't there. This is false advertisement as we chose this hotel because you said that there was entertainment. ||||The whole holiday was not relaxing one bit again like it said on the site as every day around 7:30/08:00 lorry's and vans turned up at the hotel and started building work opposite our room there was loud banging, machinery being used and it smelt like chemicals so we had to leave the hotel and go elsewhere as it was unbearable during the day. ||||All of the food during breakfast, lunch and dinner was not named so we had no idea what we was eating and again due to my condition I was constantly on edge wondering if what I'm eating is going to affect me and it ended up doing just that I spend 2 days in the hotel room not able to leave it because of eating something I shouldn't of had.
