Grecian Fantasia Resort — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

Everyone rating this resort as bad and getting other tourists scared to visit, is either expecting 5 stars from a 3 stars resort, or is exaggerating.First of all, they had the room ready even if we have arrived way earlier than the check-in hour. The room was clean, the balcony and the bathroom were clean. It was newly renovated, only the bathroom was a little old-ish. Also , It is mentioned in the reception that once every 3 days someone will come clean the room and take the trash!!!! So no need to be so upset. After 3 days someone indeed came to clean, and in the next days she also knocked our door to get our trash out. Also, the AC is free! Our agency told us that we will pay here, but when we came the owner said it is free, so I think things have changed. Second of all, the food - breakfast was always the same, but you can choose from so many dishes - so many options. we are europeans so there were dishes that we are used to eating everyday since being kids. For dinner, some meals were indeed there everyday (vegetables, salad, fruits) but every single day staying there we had something else for the main dish and desert at dinner!! Also had greek food, even if someone here said there wasn't! We had good deserts, fresh fruits, everything was cooked clean and fresh, they were bringing more directly from the oven when it was finished, so no one would have to wait. Yes, the drinks are included only to breakfast, and at dinner the owner will come and ask you if you want a drink that you will pay separately. Which is understandable, because the man built a bar in his resort, he has to produce money out of it, stop being so mean about it. Also he was not intrusive, he was speaking kindly and helping you with everything you needed. We didn t have insect nets to the bathroom window or to the balcony door, but we had NO mosquitoes, even standing on the balcony there was not one in sight (and we are very sensitive and prone to their bites, so this was a concern). The pool was very clean, kids and family friendly. The resort is located at about 2 minutes of walking from the main road in which you can find all the restaurants, shops, bars, etc, and the closest beach is 8 minutes away which was perfect. I am writing this here because we had our vacation planned by an agency, we never went to Greece before, and after reading all these bad reviews we were so scared to go after we already paid for the vacation. But this place was great for his price, clean everywhere, food was good, staff was very nice. I recommend this, please stop scaring the tourists just like you did with us, book a 5 star resort next...

The rooms were dirty, bathroom floor was sticky, the mirror was fogy because it had some dried fluids on it also the mattress in the bed was ripped, there was lots of dust underneath it, ants in the room and for some reason the water when you take showers it feels dirty, not sure if it was just me but my fiance said the same thing, the water felt like it was dirty and sticky, basically everything in the hotel felt sticky when you touched it, from the rooms to the elevator buttons to the door handles, the trash is emptied daily and the towels are change once 3-4 days, they checked the room but didn't cleaned anything,the pool was nice and the food was great especially being free, also it has an elevator so thats another plus, i gave it 3 stars because all the rooms are equiped with AC, i got sick when i came home, not sure if it was the hotel or not but my fiance got sick as well, the location is good, a restaurant is near the hotel and a supermarket as well, the beach is about 10 min of walking, and the center of the town ks really close, everything is...

One of the worst Hotels that I have stayed in.|Reception service is poor and without smiles .||Rooms,whilst clean the cleaners do not turn up until you are asking for towels and change of bedding.||Rules board is facing into the dinning area making you aware that it's more of a hostel than hotel.||Breakfast times- 7am till 9am that is a first for me for a holiday Hotel.Normally 9.30am or 10am.||Food choice is all over the place,ie Breakfast=pizza,apple turnovers boiled eggs only as hot dishes.The Chef is utterly running the show and clueless of the word and meaning of CATER.||Phil the manager is the type of Guy I would have a pint with but as a manager he really needs to work out a system of managing his staff efficiently.Dress code needs to be improved.He needs to work SMART and take ownership of his Hotel it is heading down the slippery slop of becoming a Poor Man's Paradise Hotel.|Phil I wish you the best for the future but please start digesting these bad reviews and start a Plan,Do,Review approach to running...
