Pontoria Stegna Beach Studios — Hotel in Municipality of Rhodes

I had a very pleasant 9-day stay at Pontoria studios Stegna in May. The appartement was adequately sized, very clean, modern and functionally equipped. The views over Stegna bay from the balcony are fabulous.

The whole resort is very well maintained with a large parking space and the hosts are super nice. Fotini, thank you again for my daily dose of delicious vitamin C ;-)!

Wifi does not work always and everywhere in-room but as an alternative I have connected to my mobile hotspot. The mattress was perfect and my back-ache gone after the first night.

Stegna is a perfect location to explore other areas of Rhodes. Stegna beach is long and you can either choose to rent a lounger and umbrella near Pontoria Studios or walk some minutes to the lesser frequented end of the beach. If you walk up the hill behind Pontoria Studios and then around the corner there is another small and lovely beach below a fish restaurant. Stegna has some small minimarkets and several nice restaurants. Drive up to Archangelos for shopping: there are several supermarkets (my favourite: Panagiotias) and a very nice pastry shop with great cakes and cookies (same road as Panagiotas).

There is not a lot of noisy activity in Stegna and the nights were also quiet. There is 3-4 evening music events per week hosted by the one larger hotel but they only last for 2 hours.

I recommend Pontoria Stegna Studios and would choose to stay...

Our stay at Pontoria was magnificent! Fotini, the owner, is a very kind and helpful person in every way! We really felt at home! The flat is a few minutes walk from the nearby beaches, in a very quiet area, ideal for those who hate chaos. The cleanliness was impeccable and we especially appreciated the kindness of Fotini who made us find some drinks in the fridge and other necessary things (such as coffee, sugar, etc.) when we arrived. As mentioned the flat was very clean and all the dishes (even the coffee machine) were as good as new! Pontoria will remain in our hearts and we will certainly keep her in mind should we return to...

We had a lovely 4 night stay here. Place is super clean, with a beautiful view of the harbor. This is a family business, and we love traveling and supporting the locals. Feels spacious with lots of parking and a nice terrace downstairs, that has a rooftop which makes for a great view. The interiors were done with traditional Greek details. Felt at home. Stegna beach is a lovely off the beaten path, quiet resort. Lovely time. Photos are taken...
