Liviko Beach apartments - Frangokastello, Sfakia, Crete — Hotel in Municipality of Sfakia

We have recently returned from our third and longest stay at Liviko Beach Apartments. Stunning location nestled between the magnificent mountains and the Lybian sea. The beach was almost deserted for most of the time and at night the stars are amazing with so little light pollution. The apartment is immaculate and stylish with everything you need for a comfortable stay even our 3 months during the late winter/early spring. The landlady is incredible and ensures everything is perfect; she is onsite and there if you need her but respects the privacy of her guests. No ‘maid service’ was included for our package, however a generous cleaning kit and equipment is provided, along with the usual linen, towels, welcome bathroom essentials, even beach throws and cute little indoor slippers. It was quite chilly outside on some days in February however it was warm, toasty and cosy inside, with heating and plenty of cuddly blankets and wraps if needed. As the holiday season hadn’t started, there were no tavernas open, which we know from the previous year, but with a nice kitchen and all the equipment you could need, we really enjoyed cooking for ourselves; really fresh, tastey produce, a great butcher and freshly baked bread available everyday except Sunday, all from the two supermarkets, both within ambling distance. We have already booked to return next winter…although it is beautiful in summer, the winter here is a great antidote to the long dark drab...

We stayed in Liviko for a month and a week, and it was a fantastic experience. The house was fully equipped with everything needed for a long stay, including a well-stocked kitchen and all the essentials. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and convenient location, with restaurants and supermarkets just a few minutes' walk away. The beach was only a two-minute walk from the house, and we could see it right from our doorstep. The house itself was very comfortable, with a cozy bed and two dedicated workstations set up for us to work remotely. Although the internet had occasional issues, it generally worked well enough for us to get our work done. Chrisoula, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, always available to assist with anything we needed. She is dedicated to maintaining and improving the house and gave us great recommendations for local trips and places to visit in the area. We highly recommend...

It was a dream Holiday for us . The Apartment is very clean . Chrisoula, the hostess of the apartment, supports the cleanness through all the time of the stay. You will get here all you want for Relaxing and calm Holiday. The amazing sea view, the perfect volcanic sand beach in 50 meter from the apartment , the Tranquility and the Charisma of the Kreta Mountains. There are many cozy Taverna in the near from the Apartment. And if you want to taste the delicious Kreta fruits , you can find them in local minimarkets . The biggest abundance of this place are the hospitable and sincere people . Chrisoula and Nikos are very charming Hosts , who are always ready to find the best solution for your needs .
