A stunning stay at Nima Hotel – The perfect spot in Sifnos island
I recently visited the beautiful island of Sifnos, drawn by its unique charm, incredible beaches, and amazing food scene. After debating for a while on where to stay, I chose Nima Hotel - and I couldn’t have made a better decision. Here’s why:
The Apartment: The apartment was brand new, incredibly spacious, and had everything I needed. A gorgeous bathroom, a large and comfortable bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and best of all - a private balcony/garden with breathtaking views of the ocean and the most magical sunrises. It truly felt like a luxury home away from home.
Location: Nima is in the ideal spot. Just a 7-minute walk from the island’s main town, Apollonia, and no more than a 10-minute drive to the most beautiful beaches like Platis Gialos and Vathy. It’s also only 5 minutes from the scenic Kastro village, where I watched the sunset every evening. Personally, I think this central location is perfect - quiet and peaceful, but still close to everything. Staying right in Apollonia can be a bit noisy, and being based at the beach would mean longer drives to explore the rest of the island. And although Nima doesn’t have a pool, trust me -you won’t miss it. The beaches in Sifnos are spectacular, and spending time there is a must.
The Host: I had the pleasure of meeting Eleni, one of the owners of the hotel, and she’s one of the warmest, most welcoming hosts I’ve ever encountered. She went above and beyond - helping me book a car, making all the best restaurant reservations, and sharing great local tips. She was always available and incredibly responsive. And let’s not forget the breakfast -her homemade pittas were absolutely delicious! A true highlight of the stay.
I honestly can’t recommend Nima Hotel enough. I would return in a heartbeat. Thank you, Eleni and the Nima team, for such a memorable experience. A well-deserved...

Read moreThe resort was intimate and sleekly designed in its compact location. There is a walk to the property through a narrow pathway (though the hosts will pick up your luggage with their small electric vehicle). Our room was comfortable and airy with a unbelievable view of the sea and some of the islands in the distance. There was a bottle of wine (to celebrate our anniversary) as well as a bag regional cookies from Sifnos in the room as well. Eleni and her husband were one the most generous and kind hosts we had encountered on our Greek vacation and that's saying ALOT as Greeks are known for their hospitality. Every morning during our four day stay, Eleni offered her charming smile and would prepare our coffees and breakfast, while chatting with us about various things going on in Sinos. She made it look so effortless but she and her husband work together so diligently to keep the grounds and rooms looking immaculate and inviting. At the end of our stay, we were even given a small piece of pottery with the hotel branding on it as a souvenir, which just was the perfect way to end an amazing visit. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful experience for your stay on the gorgeous island of Sifnos, this is the perfect place. Would most...
