We recommend this place 100%!||||Beautiful||We had a beautiful vacation in this Small Boutique Hotel, for 7 days.||||Panoramic view||You have a panoramic view over the sea and mountins, directly from the balcony.||||Breakfast||Breakfast was served every morning in the room, with the comodity to choose the prefered hour. Also, the breakfast is very tasty and diversified every day.||||Cleaness||Cleaness, 10 out of 10. Fresh towels and room cleaned every day, even if we didn t ask for it.||||Sea||The sea is at 5 minutes walk from location.||||Parking and Pool||The hotel has a parking and a swimming pool where you can enjoy the water and the sun.||||Guest||At last, but not the least, the guest was very friendly, super helpful with all the info we needed about the best things to do and to see on the island.||||Thank you for all and we are looking forward to come...

I was impressed by its architecture and bright colors, first of all. A boutique hotel with several rooms, a quiet, zen space with nice decorations and lovely view of the sea and the village, situated on the cliff. It has also a small clean pool, perfect for someone who wants to sunbathe somewhere less populated. There is a parking space dedicated to the hotel several meters away. Mare Monte is in walking distance from nice tavernas and a cool beachbar (Cielo). The host was extremely nice and helpful, giving us recommendations for places to go, which we eventually followed. Everything was spot on and I will certainly go back there, especially for the breakfast, which arrived every morning in the room, at the time of our choosing. This month we booked one week to this location- it is not a hotel at all- it is a house located on a dirty road with difficult access by car far away from beach or other locations that you may need. They said that the hotel is not child friendly although they have one room for a small family. They said that we can leave the child on the street and only 2 adults are permitted in the room. We asked if we can pay extra money for the child but it seemed that they already knew what to do because they already charged us for the entire amount. So they kept the money and we needed to find another location in the area in order to have a place to stay. They simply kicked us out without any help or discussion.
