We eagerly awaited our return to Opera House after 4 years and we weren’t disappointed we were greeted warmly by our host and owner Esmeralda| and the two Anna’s on reception it was as if we’d never been away and we were very appreciative that both couples were given an upgraded suite with large spacious rooms. The hotel remains the same apart from the addition of a beautiful pool and spa complex with the most comfortable sunbeds ever.|The hotel is just a short walk from the buzz of the main town yet remains peaceful and quiet with the sounds of the goats in the mountains behind.|Everywhere is spotlessly clean, the rooms are well equipped with great showers and clean fluffy towels every day.|Breakfast is buffet style with everything you could wish for and provides both hot and cold food of every description.|We dined at the family run Kavos restaurant and were kindly given lifts there and back due to a mobility problem but again this is walkable and we would recommend the food is good and freshly cooked.|The hosts and staff are all friendly, helpful and cannot do enough to make your stay perfect thank you we...

We have just had a lovely stay at the Opera House hotel in Symi|The location is not far from the busy port area but was very peaceful and quiet|All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and new bed linen every couple of days - while the rooms we stayed in was not large it was more than adequate for our needs and we quickly settled in |First night I could not get the air conditioning to come on but it was my fault as the receptionist had told me that all of the windows had to be shut for it to work so that's one to remember if you stay here|There is a small but beautiful pool that is ideal for just relaxing in between our trips on the beach taxis which we used most days along with the bus to pedi and walking up to the old village of Symi (lots of steps!) and to the beach at nimborious|A lovely place and one we...
