I was eating at the restraunt next to dolphin pizzeria and saw some stray cats roaming around looking for food. As a tourist, i have been carrying cat food with me to feed the strays so i got up and put some biscuits down next to the dolphin restraunt. A man who worked there then told me that they are already â over fedâ and that i shouldnât give them any food. By this time it was already too late as i had already put the food down on the floor. I then just said oh okay i didnât know that and he replied saying âwell is it not obvious theyâre not even eating it so stop feeding themâ when the cat had literally finished all the food i gave them. I replied saying it is that big of a deal? iâm just feeding a stray cat and i didnât know you guys feed them. He then told me to shut up and fuck off. I then told him to not speak to me like that and then a women who worked there intervened and pulled him by the arm telling him to calm down. I then walked back past the restraunt on my way back to my boat that took me to my hotel and got a picture of the name of the restraunt as the banner was in greek and i canât read greek. He saw me take a picture and took his key chain out and held up something that looked like a pen knife. I then walked away and he followed me down the street shouting in greek and pointing at me. It is absolutely disgusting how he treated a tourist who was just trying to feed a stray cat , i was doing nothing to hurt him and the food wasnât even on the restraunt property. To speak to someone like that especially whilst on shift, is absolutely vile and he should be ashamed of himself. I fed another cat round the back of the restraunt where the toilet is and a local greek lady who lived behind the restraunt told me sheâs thankful iâm feeding them and that she tries to feed them the best she can but itâs hard because there is so many. The restraunt was close to empty both times i passed it which says it all really. I would have understood if it was on the restraunt but it wasnât and his reaction definitely was...

Ive waited 6 years and travelled over 8000miles from Australia for a taste, not of Gialos or the Symi coastline, but of the craftman ship of Nikitas and Vasilis dolphin pizza and I can proudly say Yiamas bosh I have been officially converted to the way of the dolphin.
From the crunch of the base to the acidity of the fresh tomatoes, only Dolphin pizza would be able to find a cheese that compliments the trinity of mouth watering flavours... and they did. I had to try the Margherita first - and wow like an addict tasting the high of their life I was hooked. Next came the arabian, could this be the best flavour combination of 2024 in the Mediterranean, I thought so until I tried the mexican. At this point who would dare change it up, but I just had to know, do the pastas stand up to the task. Well forget Italy, who wants to fly to Naples or Rome anyways... the Bacon pasta was exceptional. Paired with a garlic bread its like prime Iniesta Xavi and Busquets who is beating this flavour.
And the service, its like Mother Teresa herself is looking after you, with Anna Angela and Eleftheria turning water into wine and tables into orchestras of culinary experience I was transformed 2000 years into the future where waitresses just mindread your every requirement.
The only improvement I can think of is to expand across the whole island and rename Simi to Dolphin Simiâąïž because if you land in the port of Gialos and dont come here you surely must be being held hostage.
If there is a wait outside, no fear I have waited over 6 years for a bite and it was worth every second.
Thank you, Î”Ï ÏαÏÎčÏÏÏ, to all the Dolphin pizza team for my amazing holiday and experience at your restuarant.
I will...
