Etoile Apartment — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

I cannot say enough about this rental and the hosts! The room/apartment we rented was perfect - it had a little kitchen area with a fridge and a great A/C split (so important in such heat). The location itself is ideal: it is just off the main drag - where there is an awesome bakery and a few feet further on a supermarket. On the opposite side of the main drag are not one, but two ATV etc rental places, and from there on down one can easily walk into the heart of Perissa where there are many more shops. Following the actual road Etoile is located on, within less than a 10-minute walk you will find yourself on the beach and promenade where there are tons more fun places to eat and drink! And if you have a vehicle, Etoile has an adjoining lot you can use [with their permission]. The hosts are literally THE kindest, nicest, most responsive hosts I have ever come...

Hara’s place was truly one of the highlights of my trip in Santorini. She always made sure we were taken care of every day and had anything we needed. She was wonderful enough to book transportations and excursions for us to make our vacation enjoyable and easy. It is a short 10 minute walk from the black sand beach with all the restaurants and storefronts. There is even this wonderful little bakery less than two minutes walking from the apartment that is open 24 hours. Hara’s space is clean and has two strong AC units that keep us cool with all the heat outside! Hara’s space gives you the home-y feeling that a hotel cannot offer. Perfect. New construction, clean, safe, very accommodating host, 5 minute walk to the beach. Three of us stayed here in Sept '21 and we loved it. They provided a few liters of bottled water and wrapped snacks in the (galley) kitchen. It is right next to a market with all the staples you need. Perissa is a small beach town, not a go-all-night spot like Fira, but local bars are open late. If you are staying 3+ days you should really look into an ATV/scooter rental, it makes getting around the island a breeze. I would 100%...
