Family Villages Santorini — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We had an unforgettable week in this apartment in the village and we highly recommend it. Oleksander is an exceptionally attentive host, always available for any needs. The property was impeccably clean, thanks to the housekeeping ladies who were always kind and considerate. This apartment is ideal for families, situated in a stunning location close to the fantastic beach of Santorini.

The apartment itself is a gem of elegance and simplicity, with a surface area of 60 square meters. The combination of a living room with a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful master bedroom, and an en-suite bathroom offers everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The cozy veranda with table and chairs is perfect for outdoor dining, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding nature in complete relaxation.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including a toaster, microwave, electric kettle, and refrigerator. The living room is equipped with a Smart TV and WiFi, ensuring comfort and entertainment. The entrance with a small terrace is ideal for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. Additionally, the view is breathtaking, with mountains on one side and the pool with sunbeds on the other.

I stayed at Family Villages Santorini for two weeks and it was the perfect base. My apartment was very clean and had all the appliances I needed. The pool was lovely and I spent lots of time sitting around the pool reading my book. You do need a transport, but I’d say you need transport wherever you’d stay in Santorini. There are a few restaurants within walking distance that are amazing though. I liked the location as it was very relaxing and calm and away from the business of Fira or Oia. I also had the pleasure of their dog coming to visit me each day which was lovely. I can’t fault the accommodation, I really enjoyed staying there. Purtroppo ci siamo fatti ingannare dalle foto belle di alcune stanze, forse i migliori del villaggio. In seguito sunto delle 4 stanze dalla 102 alla 105.

-room102 suit con 1 camera matrimoniale + 1 camera con letti singoli + divano letto senza privacy nel soggiorno/cucinotto. Unica camera in lista con lavatrice, la cucina a induzione non va tanto, serve mezz’ora per bollire delle uova -room103 due camere separate con frigo. E divano letto in salotto senza privacy ma comunque la migliore camera di tutte le altre per privacy. -room104 monolocale con bagno separato, probabilmente passa la fogna sotto pertanto il bagno puzza perennemente. Camera con minifrigo che tende a tremare di notte e aria condizionata molto rumorosa (entrambe roba vecchia). Per il resto tutto ok, non adatto a chi soffre per rumori -room 105 NO PRIVACY per nulla. Un letto matrimoniale nella “stanza del bagno”senza porta… un letto matrimoniale nel salotto, c’è una finestra tra salotto e camera del bagno trasparente. NON c’è nessuna finestra verso esterno, chi fa i bisogni in bagno, la coppia che vive nella stanza del bagno si prende tutti gli odori. Chi va a fare doccia gli altri devono tutti uscire dalla casa perché non c’è porta… e si vede tutto…

Piscina molto bella, signorina delle pulizie veramente una hard worker, pulisce dalla mattina alla sera essendo lei da sola per tutte le camere. L’acqua per LAVARSI È SALATA! è acqua di mare filtrata perché dopo doccia sento ancora la pelle leggermente appiccicosa,forse c’è gente meno sensibile che non se ne accorge.

IN SINTESI Posto adatto a gruppi giovani per risparmio assoluto, altrimenti c’è molto di meglio per qualche soldino in più. Anche perché c’è sempre qualcuno che festeggia e canta a bordo piscina di notte, le mura non sono insonorizzate quindi si sente praticamente tutto. La stradina per le abitazioni NON è asfaltata ed è molto stretta e rocciosa.

Alla prenotazione ci era stato detto navetta sui 7€ a testa, quando ci è servito ci hanno chiesto 40€ per tratta per due persone.
