Karat Suites — Hotel in Municipality of Thira

We've stayed for 3 days. Everything was very good. At the reception they where very friendly and helpful with nice inside information of the island. Lovely swimmingpool/ bubblebath outside. Rooms are very good and clean. Included a nice breakfast basket to your liking delivered on your balcony on your preferred time. Tiny comment, the upper bedroom/loft isn't recommended for small kids, however downstairs is a nice alternative on the good sofa-bed. Location for us was good, its a quiet surroundings and in the middle of the island. We had a rental car and its only 10min to fira, and 8 min to the black sand beach. In case needed they help also with rental or other transfer possibilities. Highly recommend...

It happens very rarely that photos of the accomodation are underselling the reality. Here it is like that! The apartment complex is honestly better than you see in photos. Terraces, pool, service, staff, surrounding, everything! It's in a very calm part of the town, available parking spot. Breakfast whatever you choose from a list the day prior. A place nicely designed and very clean. Break was good, thanks also to the Bulgarian lady who prepares it. The place is located pretty well in order to reach main areas of the island, however, it is a whole area under construction, so don’t expect natural surroundings or great views.
