Paralos Beach Bar — Restaurant in Municipality of West Mani

This is a lovely beach bar with great music and plenty of comfortable seating in the shade.

The food was very good, I recommend any of their salads or the bruschetta (which is more like pizza bread as it’s covered in cheese). The crepes we ordered let them down a bit as they were very dry and crispy (like they had been made much earlier in the day and then just heated up slightly before serving).

Unacceptable behaviour towards take away customers. The said they were too busy to serve us food, even though they were half empty. Like a plague of locusts, they have taken over part of the beach with their expensive deck chairs. All they want is for people to use them, and pay through the nose for what is a public space. We only got a poor quality orange juice, bitter and watered down. It is quite an achievement to serve a bad quality orange juice in Greece. We have just returned after 2 weeks in Stoupa. We got married on Kalogria Beach Saturday 25th May and had our reception at Paralos and returned many times for lunch and beach days. Sunbeds were €15 first week as was still in May then €20 second week as June although if you spent that amount at Paralos the sunbeds were free, which we always did.
