We spent a week here (4 guests, in 2 apartments) from 10-17 August. Our week started well but the owner’s visiting family/friends spoilt the end of the week, the self catering facilities were lacking, the rooms needed some care and attention and we were practically accused of theft on our penultimate day. Visiting family/friends came across and noisy kids descended upon the small pool for 2-3 days. Paying guests were forced to stay away from the poolside as kids threw things in the pool and toys and bikes were scattered about. Several guests were noticeably disgruntled at this. The self catering facilities are not as described, or as shown in the pictures on their website. There was no microwave and no coffee making facilities. We just had a kettle and a hob with some pots and pans. The hob cannot be described as a double hob either, the smaller ring on the hob was neither use nor ornament (see pictures). The sheets and towels were clean and were changed once during the week. The bins were emptied every other day. Closer inspection of the bathroom showed that it was in need of some attention. The shower hose was broken and leaked. There must have been a gap in the tiles, as water leaked out onto the bathroom floor. The fixtures were a bit rusty and stained and there was hair in the shower plug hole when we arrived. My partner dropped something and felt under the bed for it, promptly putting his hand in a pile of dust and crumbs. The bed obviously hadn’t been pulled out and cleaned in some time (see picture). The mattresses and pillows were very hard, sometimes meaning it was difficult to fall asleep. The air conditioning was also very noisy; it sounded like a howling gale! Again, this made falling asleep a bit challenging. George offers a poolside fridge of drinks that you pay him for on an honesty basis. You write down what you take and pay him at the end of the holiday. All four of us took drinks (me, my partner and my 2 grown up children), keeping note of what we took, but mostly we bought water and drinks from the local supermarket (as they were far cheaper to buy in bulk from here). I had asked my 2 children to let me know what they took so that I could settle up at the end of the week. So, on the penultimate day, we nipped across to George’s office to pay the tourist tax and the fridge drink bill. I present him with a list of what drinks we took, to which George replies ‘what about the girls?’. I explain that this includes the girls, to which he responds ‘I think you took more’. I might be a lot of things, but I’m certainly not dishonest. I felt really upset and went over and over again with my partner and my daughters about what we had taken. If I had made a mistake I would’ve admitted it and paid up, but we hadn’t. For the rest of our time there, I couldn’t help but feel that George was looking at us as though we were petty thieves. If he can’t trust his guests then he needs to have a better system. It has just left a very nasty taste in our mouths and for this reason we would not return...

Me and my family have been here before(maybe around 5 years ago)and since we loved it so much and we also were excited about how clean the villa was,we would try every year to come back but the villa that we wanted wasn't available. This year, we gave it another shot and booked the villa we wanted.Since the pandemic, we were scared to book a hotel that maybe wasn't that clean and we could remember that this one had an excellent stuff ,that cleaned our apartment every day! When we arrived everything was clean, but the following days our villa was never cleaned (neither we had new towels)and we asked the stuff about it.They said "they forgot to tell us about the new rules" that basically if we want the service to clean our villa we have to ask specifically about it..so after the third day they "cleaned"(the floor wasn't clean at all, basically the changed our bed-sheets and mopped and we cleaned the pool again by ourselves). It's such a pity, that a nice hotel with a very nice view and accommodations doesn't follow the cleaning rules, especially in a period of a...

can't speak highly enough of the management. in 2020 I booked a stay and sent a deposit. For Covid I didn't go and so they gave me a voucher that was redeemable after 18 months if not used. At the end of the 18 months I have repeatedly asked for and solicited the reimbursement also provided for by international agreements. No refunds have arrived and they no longer respond to emails. I do not consider it a correct behavior and this makes me doubt the seriousness of the...

Lovely family owned business with nicely decorated flats and superb view. The owner, Mr Perikles, is very helpful and honest and if you add the pool, the short distance from the village, the free drinks supply and his 2 playful kittens hanging around all together, it's hard to beat for this price! Very cosy place, really fantastic people 😃😃😃 As far as I know, a hotel which has been enjoying a very good reputation for many years, as it is one of the oldest in the region.
