Suite Nikas Rooms & Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of West Mani

We spent a fortnight here in June. The building is unusually striking for Greece, looking a little like a castle approached through an arched gate. Garden has olive and pomegranate trees with permanent table in the shade and is very peaceful. No pool , but Kalogria beach is less than five minutes away. Stoupa beach about ten minutes. The distance from Nikas to the very end of Stoupa beach is just under a kilometre! Very pleasant walk. Two large supremarkets close by, plus others along Stoupa beach.|The owners are amazingly friendly and hard working, living onsite and nothing seems to be too much.|There are eight rooms that I could see, four up and four down. Our room was on the ground floor and being a corner room had two balconies overlooking the garden and an olive grove. One balcony has a clothes line with pegs. There were mozzie screen on the two balcony doors which allowed us to sleep comfortably with the doors open. We chose to use the air con for the last four days because of the general heat. The cost per day was the cheapest I have found anywhere in Greece, well worth it.|The apartment has a television, ample power points, a hair drier, an iron and small ironing board. A hot plate, kettle, coffee maker and sandwich toaster. Fridge with freezer compartment; washing up liquid and washing/drying cloth are supplied. There is a soap dispenser in the wash room with ample toilet rolls. Powerful hand held shower, (we had taken a rubber sleeve that allows it to be stuck to the wall).| Bed linen is changed regularly along with room cleaning.|There a variety of books to choose from if you want a read or swap.|Around the island are taps supplying spring water which is drinkable and there is one on the corner of the Kalogria Road.|Georgia has a permanent smile and is an amazing host Stavros is also a taxi driver. Worth knowing if you want to visit anywhere. They both work hard to keep the apartments and garden clean and tidy.|We look forward to returning and...

We stayed at the Nikas Apartments at Kalogria beach ( Stoupa) for 2 weeks in the top floor apartment that can only be described as excellent. |Everything needed for a very enjoyable holiday was provided, and the apartment was immaculately clean and well appointed. |Many thanks to Georgia and Stavros whom were always on hand to help with any queries or problems .. a lovely, very pleasant couple who helped make this holiday a very enjoyable experience.|We highly recommend this property and location, 5 beach tavernas on the doorstep and the town of Stoupa only a 5 minutes walk away with its range of tavernas and restaurants|This property is only 200 to 300 metres from the sandy Kalogria beach, with plenty of sun beds available and excellent "food and drink service" provided on the beach by the local tavernas.|All together, a very enjoyable holiday, one of the best apartments in a wonderful quiet location .. very...

We visited in July all I can say is I agree with the reviews written before cannot add a thing more as it would be repeating everything that has already been said 😁. It is a beautiful little place the owners are so lovely it is a credit to them would we return... A definate yes absolutely we would ||There was a question being asked on here about the bathrooms having a shower curtain.... We'll yes they do but you certainly don't stick to it you step into the shower which is a good size the curtain doesn't even touch you it just closes off the rest of the bathroom and it's the most powerful shower I've had really really good||5...
