Don't! Go! There! Zero * ! The reception always closed, you have to search for the boss. When I checked into my room, toilet paper was almost finished, in the small kitchen only a pan but no pot to make noodles or others, no soap for cleaning dishes, no utensils for cooking. There are no curtains at the windows to darken the room, so it get's bright after sun rise. TV remote had a problem, so had to ask the boss to check it. He came half naked, smelling and tried to adjust the remote, had to change remote from other room. Anyway the TV has only 7 channels, all showing 24h commercials. Some channels only sound, no picture and it is no music channel. No channel for sports. Asked the boss twice to check it but he don't cares, just said: "thats what you get in Greece". It's near the beach, but still way too expensive. One of the maids made a very unfriendly guesture when I told her I'm from Germany. I'm the guest and she should not tell me that I have to smile!!! Had to pay the minute I checked in. My advice: Find some...
Read moreThis place is advertised with rooms on the beach this however is not the case on arrival at Free Sun we found that it is actually allocated behind a beach restaurant that they pass off as their own property according to their pics of the venue. On arrival we seemed to have woken up the manager that was ment to be on duty he came to us and told us he would attend to us in 10mins ,this I feel is very unprofessional as we are paying for a service and have been travelling all day. He then emerged with two room keys and walked us to our rooms. Once we entered the room I was instantly dissatisfied with the quality of the overall cost vs the room it was outdated and smelt damp. The facilities are not up to a hotel std of 3stars not sure who rated them that! After looking at the situation we started to look for new accommodation and try get out of this ugly looking hotel.|All in all don't bother wasting time and money on this dump of a hotel these are the actual pics and I'm sure they will speak...
Read moreHere are the positives: location was good, close to the beach and restaurant, and the immediate environment looks good - i.e. it’s a little nice little holiday complex, from the outside. My wife and kids were happy with the bedding, not me but I’m heavy ;-) Now the downsides: worst value for money throughout our greek trip. At 130€/night in an area that is not so touristy, I just can’t make do with the minimal attention to decor, wall cracks, awful furniture, lack of lightbulbs, soviet style bathroom, complete lack of kitchen equipment (forget it if you want to cook your own food - even breakfast was a challenge), frost all over the fridge/freezer, ... that’s just what springs to mind... overall, it felt really cheap, yet expensive! Good news is we just used the place to shower and sleep, and spent only 3 of our 15 greek nights there (everywhere else was good, and we’ve been on 5 islands + Athens). Seriously, go somewhere else, not worth your hard...
