A beautifully appointed hotel in the center of Parikia. It is simply decorated but has everything you might need. I was welcomed by the owner who was friendly and full of very helpful information and was able to give me good guidance for onward travel plans. The view from my room was over the Greek church outside and it was just captivating. No.1 room was furnished in typically Greek style and was exceptionally clean. There is also a lovely little communal terrace area between the room where you can sit under an umbrella and just listen to the beauiful birdsong you can hear all around while reading a book. The book swap basket is a great idea and I left a booked I had finished for another reader to enjoy. There are no onsite dining facilities but you are seconds from a significant number of options and so it is not required. I had a great nights sleep although I had expected some noise given the central loction but as someone who lives in a city the lack of vehicles was bliss. The room represented extremely good value for money and I really look forward to returning...
Read moreWe loved Hotel Dina. The location is literally steps from many restaurants and shops, a convenience store, and the water. You can walk anywhere in old town and to the port in minutes. We stayed in Room 1 (the triple with window to the street) and it was perfect for us. In this particular room there is some noise from local establishments at night if you leave the window open - we actually don’t mind that noise - but if you close the window and use the air conditioning you don’t hear it all. The place is incredibly clean and bed was comfy. Elena is such a friendly and kind host and her charm extends through the entire hotel complex that includes a great courtyard for sitting and lovely plants throughout. Elena communicated with us before our stay and throughout our stay and had fabulous recommendations. This is the kind of place we love to stay at. ...
Read moreI stayed at this hotel in Parikia and I was really impressed! The location is simply unbeatable – right in the center, on the main pedestrian street with all the shops and tavernas. You step outside and you’re immediately in the heart of the town, surrounded by the best places to eat and shop.
The room was very clean and well-maintained, with a beautiful Cycladic atmosphere that really makes you feel the spirit of the island. The view of the main street was wonderful and added a special vibe to the stay.
