Our dining experience at Mira in Parikia, Paros, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm embrace of Greek hospitality that set the stage for an unforgettable evening.
As we stepped up to the restaurant, we were welcomed like family by who we believed to be the owner. Thanks to our reservation, we were seated right next to the water, offering us an unparalleled view of the breathtaking sunset—a truly magical setting that enhanced our dining experience.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was serene and inviting, creating the perfect ambiance for an evening of culinary delights. To our delight, a local accordion player serenaded us tableside, adding an extra layer of charm to an already enchanting evening.
But it was the food that stole the show at Mira. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously prepared with the freshest ingredients and bursting with flavor. We started with a bottle of white wine that perfectly complemented our meal, accompanied by a selection of starters that included bread with dip and olives, a parian caper spread, octopus salad, and freshly cut fries—each bite a symphony of Mediterranean flavors.
For our main course, our party indulged in a variety of dishes, each more delicious than the last. From the hearty moussaka to the succulent fresh steamed mussels, the rich pasta saganaki, and the perfectly grilled tuna filet, every dish was a testament to the culinary expertise of the chef.
As if the culinary delights weren't enough, the meal ended on a high note with a complimentary shot of ouzo and a heavenly panna cotta with a raspberry coulis—a fittingly sweet conclusion to a perfect meal.
In conclusion, Mira is a culinary gem in Parikia, where impeccable service, breathtaking views, and outstanding cuisine converge to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether you're seeking a romantic dinner for two or a memorable meal with friends and family, Mira is sure to exceed your expectations. Highly...

Read moreThe reviews are all true! We managed to get a table here this evening as we were walking past and there was barely a queue, last night however we went past about 8.30pm and there must have been 20+ people waiting. Cute little Greek restaurant on the water front, can get a little chilly on nights like tonight as the winds were a little on the blustery side but blankets provided if needed. We had the bread and olives with filo wrapped feta to start and it was delicious. My partner wanted to try the moussaka but unfortunately it had sold out, the lovely waitress suggested the sea bass which he loved and I went for the Greek patties with fries, pita and salad for approx 13€. The best way to describe this restaurant would be simple Greek classic dishes, very reasonable prices and delicious food. We paid over double for dinner the night before and it wasn’t as good as Mira. To top of off, they give you home made panacotta for desert, I was about to leave it as I was pretty full but my partner said just try and it was incredible. Thank you for a wonderful meal and to the older gentleman working the door and managing to seat everyone in pretty good time. We had a lovely evening and I can see why tourists and locals...
