We dropped by here on Friday night. We started with a few appetizers. The Fried zucchinis were delicious. Very thin strings with a light breading and a small side of yoghurt. Additionally, we ordered meatballs. These were a little dry on the outside but once you cut into them, they were quite tasty. And finally we had a baked feta along with a side of pita. This was very tasty and I would strongly recommend the pita to go with it. But you could also have it on its own, the flavor was great.
For main courses, I opted for the Mousaka. It was very heavy with meat and cheese and used potatoes. It was very flavorful.
My partner had the sea bass. It came with a tabbouleh salad but it was actually more of a cous cous.
Initially the service was pretty good. Once they approached closing you could tell they were ready for us to leave. We offered to grab our wine to go, but they didn’t have cups. So one waitress did get some from next door. The guy who brought us a box to pack our food basically dropped the plastic bag that went with it in the center of the table. All in all it was fine, I’d just have preferred they simply said they’re closing.
Good food. A few other spots I’d rather visit in this strip but it’s worth a visit if you have multiple days.

Read moreWe came here on multiple recommendations plus the great score, left a bit disappointed. Good things first: Made a reservation and got a nice table with the view of the sunset (main selling point of the place). Also quick service and nice waitresses. Food was disappointing. Rather small portions at the price, but still alright, given the location (other places on the shore serve bigger portions). Bread was OK, though we'd had better in Paros, tsatsiki and baba ganoush great, but the ordered bread was not enough for these dishes - bread could have been included when ordering multiple dips, but still OK. Imam (stuffed aubergine) tasted nice, but very little feta inside, untypical for Greek cuisine. Main problem: grilled octopus was awful. Very small (two tentacles), out of which one was edible, but chewy, the other one was burnt black beyond recognition. All-in-all: nice view, courteous staff, but food was rather underwhelming. With great recommendations comes great...
Read moreOur dinner was spectacular. The interior of the restaurant has been completely renovated and it is absolutely beautiful. Tables were well spaced and all staff wore masks. From the warm greeting outside to the kind and knowledgeable service inside - there is nothing stuffy about this eatery. Staff are so thrilled and happy to be there, The owner and chef both came out to help serve, answer questions and meet patrons. And the food.....DELICIOUS! A series of beautiful dishes culminating in the best food we have enjoyed in Greece so far. Bravo to the entire team...this is a great experience and we will be back. From start to finish, unhurried and imbued with fresh and sumptuous flavours - this dining experience is unparalleled. Made all the more unique by the location .the sunset view is incredible !! I recommend most highly. Thank you to Taverna Alexandros and the entire team for a special and glorious finale to our magical...
