The museum houses magnificent artifacts and is certainly worth a visit. However, it is in urgent need of renovation. The restrooms are in poor condition, cleanliness is lacking, and many areas require maintenance. The exhibition itself needs modernization—particularly in the way objects are presented. The explanation cards appear to be decades old, possibly over 50 years. Additionally, the surrounding area is unkempt and neglected. Immediate attention is required to preserve and enhance the visitor experience.

The Paros Archaeological museum is a small yet interesting museum in Paros town. It has a small collection of artefacts dating from the prehistoric age until the Roman era. There’s a small court with pieces and 2 halls, one containing statues and grave monuments, the other containing pottery and similar artefacts found on the island. Because it’s only €2 it is worth a visit.

I must say I was disappointed that I had not gone earlier to visit the amazing sights of the museum. Paros should add this to their tourist must visit. The rich ancient culture needs to be celebrated and shared significantly more than it currently is. Groups like @friendsofparos will definitely make some changes for the preservation, celebration of all that is Paros.

The Museum is very interesting, especially if you are a history lover! The monuments come from different places around Paros, Antipatos and Despotiko! As I have visited many greek museums though, I would like to mention that there are few explanation labels in english and that the place needs to be renovated! Furthermore I believe that it should be open all working days especially during summer in order the tourists to have the opportunity to see it! Staff was really kind and smiley! :)...

When you first walk in it feels like a garden centre - the displays are just strewn around outside with no information. There are a few disparate rooms with more displays, many of which are unlabelled, labelled incorrectly (e.g. "head" on what is clearly a torso), or so worn and water damaged they were unreadable. There was one particularly interesting statue (the Gorgon), and it was only a couple of Euro to get in, but wow they...
