Hotel Madaky — Hotel in Paros Municipality

We stayed here for a week from the 1st of July. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. There was plenty of hanging and storage space for our clothes. Toiletries were refreshed on a daily basis and the room was cleaned daily. We had a ground floor room with a sizeable terrace. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and we didn’t have a single bad night sleep all week. There was a decent hairdryer in the room along with a fridge, fan and television which we didn’t turn on all week!!! This hotel is situated very centrally to the town centre and there is a lovely beach only a 10 minute walk away or you can catch a boat to Kolymbithries beach which costs €7.50 for the return trip. Dark and dingy hotel. The bathroom was like a cupboard and had no ventilation at all. The bedroom was gimmicky with its beach theme.|We had booked and paid for 6 nights, but left after 1. We weren’t even there 24 hours.|We didn’t feel safe in the hotel after experiencing someone trying to get into our room whilst we were sleeping. It was a frightening experience.|Also the terraces are not secluded and can easily be walked into from the other terraces and the town. |We were woken throughout the night by groups of guests going out and returning back at all hours being loud and shouting, with no consideration for other guests. We booked the room through Booking.com, and it seems that there was an error with the price so our reservation was cancelled after a few hours. After calling Booking, they weren't able to help or didn't want to, even though we had booked everything on their platform and we should be entitled to some sort of customer protection. So we decided to call the hotel directly and we found a solution together. They were extremely helpful. They welcomed us like nothing happend, the room was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. It is in the center but it's protected by the noise of the night, allowing us to sleep very peacefully. I recommend this beautiful hotel...
