The Absolute Best Souvlaki in Paros – A Local Secret in Naousa
If you’re in Naousa and craving authentic, mouthwatering souvlaki, do yourself a favour and find this place. No fancy signs, no tourist traps – just a small, casual spot serving up absolute souvlaki perfection.
This local gem is as low-key as it gets. Plastic chairs, simple setup, maybe some locals chatting nearby – but the moment that grilled aroma hits you, you know you’re in for something special. It’s the kind of place that doesn’t need to try hard, because the food speaks for itself.
The souvlaki? Unreal. Tender, juicy meat with just the right amount of char, wrapped in a warm pita that’s soft but holds everything together. The tzatziki is garlicky and fresh, and the tomatoes and onions actually taste like they were picked that morning. It’s that perfect balance of smoky, salty, and creamy – everything you want in a souvlaki.
The prices are beyond reasonable, and the portions are generous. It’s the kind of meal that hits the spot whether you’re coming off the beach or winding down after a long, sun-soaked day.
If you’re in Paros and don’t stop here, you’re missing out on one of the simplest but most satisfying meals on the island. Sometimes the best food experiences are the ones that don’t try to impress – they just deliver. This place absolutely delivers.

Friendly, smiling and immediately makes you feel like you are at home and among friends! Waiter is the wrong term, he truly makes you feel like you are being served as a welcome guest. Hats off to you Julio!
Don’t be fooled into thinking it is a tourist trap simply because it is on the main street by the sea and lots of people stop by. It has generated lots of hype and its...
Read moreAdd this to your list of places to eat. My son recommended this place as he had been last year. The staff are attentive and informative regarding waiting times for take away or for a table. We had takeaway the first time and then dined in the second time. The pitta wraps with either gyros or skewer were amazing and well balanced with all ingredients. The waiter with the moustache (we never asked for your name) provided entertainment by crushing the bottles and advising where to go and what to see. I owe you and the other waiter a beer at 1am, when your shift finishes....
