We were delighted with our stay here in room 1 which has all things you need. And if something is missing or needed, Anna will go out of her way to arrange it for you, loved this woman who runs the pension on her own!!!||Upon arrival in Paros Harbor we rented a car and drove to the accommodation which is in a street next to the city centre where you are not able to park, so I made a call to Anna as I could not find it and she really tried to explain as good as possible to direct us to her pension where she was standing waiting for us outside the door with her hand up, such a wonderful woman!! The check in was made easy and our room was ready, we made our way to a very spacious clean room on the 2nd floor which had a lovely partly sea/city view spacious terras. Aircon was nice and working well. The terras is amazing for your mornings coffee and watch sunrise over Náousa and evenings relaxing after a long day touring around the island, it has the loveliest terras view and nice silence, so close to the centre yet so peaceful quit. ||Most importantly Anna an older lady who is the owner, is the best host and we really felt at home, very helpful and had great advice where to go and have breakfast and park. We could not ask for more, so grateful for this experience and choosing pension Anna .||I would definitely return to this place and would recommend...
Read moreThe review on the official website is totally over-rated, and Anna is totally un-professional and I would definitely not stay there again!! The island of Hydra was lovely but staying at Anna's Pension was not what we were expecting at all from what the website told us. Anna does not speak English at all - and made no effort to communicate with us - I don't expect everyone to speak English of course but I do expect curtosy - there was none of that to be seen! For a start the website says that Anna will welcome you with "true Greek hospitality" - we found everyone in Greece and on Hydra to be really friendly apart from Anna - it seemed that we were putting her out by staying there!! Once we found the penion we were looking forward to "enjoying a coffee or tea and snacks that I prepare for you to welcome you on arrival" (from the website) - instead we felt that we interrupting her and ushered to our room, where the toilet was broken - somone did come over to fix it but it was not really fixed for the 3 days we were there which meant a total waste of water for starters as well as hearing a running stream of water - very frustrating! When we went to leave we were pretty much given the task of writing our own bill and receipt - she kept calling us back to work it all out - so unprofessional! I recommend...
Read moreWe stayed there for 4 nights and I have to say I have never been so happy with a hotel before. The room was extremely clean and the location was amazing. First of all the room was large which I did not expect (one bedroom, one bathroom, one living room and a balcony) and it was located about one to two minutes away from a mini Market and two places with cheap food. Moreover it was really close to Piperi beach and Piperaki beach both of which are really clean and peaceful. The owner was really friendly and welcoming. To sum up it was a wonderful experience and I definitely know where I will be staying when I...
