YIANIYAMAS Paros — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

My wife and I were really looking forward to trying this place as the reviews led us to believe it would be a great experience, unfortunately that couldn't be further from the truth. First of all, we were seated at our table and it took almost 20 minutes before a server came over and handed us menus. Once we ordered or meal I SPECIFICALLY asked the server to bring everything out at the same time. It wasn't a large order..2 sushi rolls and a steak. He assured me he would. It took about 30 mins before the food arrived, they brought my wife plate out first (sushi) handed it to her and walked away... after 10 minutes...my meal still had not come out. So my wife ate alone while I waited. 20 minutes after my wife finished her meal they finally brought my plate out. When I asked our server why he didnt bring both meals out together he said..it wasn't possible because they only has 2 people rolling the sushi...i said that doesnt make sense..the sushi came first...that wasnt the issue...and it wasnt a 30oz tomahawk..it was a small ..maybe 8oz steak.....the server had a lot of attitude. Didn't apologize, didnt seemed bothered ..dropped my food and left. When it came time to pay the bills he handed me the machine ..I paid...he grabbed it from my hands and walked away ..very rude, but thats what you get with a young inexperienced staff.. The atmosphere is nice as its located in town but the service at this restaurant was the WORST I've experienced in all of greece. I wouldnt return here if they paid me. Yaniyamas: Disastrous Experience

Unfortunately, my experience at Yaniyamas was nothing short of disappointing. After booking a table for two well in advance through their online platform i-Host, we arrived at 10:08 PM, only to find that our table was not available. The hostess, visibly embarrassed, informed us that there wouldn't be a table available for at least another hour. To make matters worse, we were offered the option of sitting at a table set up on the street, with the promise of being moved inside the restaurant later on.

I find this behavior unacceptable for a restaurant that should know how to manage reservations and provide adequate service to its customers. Unfortunately, it seems that not everyone is cut out for the restaurant business. I will not be returning and do not recommend this place to anyone looking to avoid poor service and a lack of...

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly polite, always smiling, and more than willing to assist with anything we needed. Their service was flawless — attentive yet discreet, making us feel truly special.

As for the food… simply outstanding. Every dish was a celebration of flavor — made with the freshest ingredients, executed to perfection, and beautifully presented.
