In my 32 years on this planet, I have never slept on a more uncomfortable bed than the one at Lorenzo Studios. The mattress feels like it was picked up from a bargain bin at a discount shop — absolutely no support, impossible to rest on, and frankly insulting for the price paid.
We paid €800 for 4 nights, and what did that include? • Two flat, lifeless pillows that I wouldn’t even donate — straight to the trash. • Bathroom towels as rough as sandpaper, leaving you drier but more irritated than before. • A so-called “satellite TV” with 8 channels, all in Greek, offering nothing useful for international guests. • An owner who does not speak English, ignores messages, and even hung up the phone on me during check-in, which dragged on for 40 frustrating minutes.
On top of that, the listing promised a “view of the ocean.” What we actually got was a view of a concrete wall from every single window. No sunlight, no scenery, nothing but cement. This is blatant false advertising.
And the “surprises” don’t stop there: • Nowhere on the Booking.com listing does it mention that the studios are perched on one of the highest points in Paros, requiring guests to climb a steep hill and then 60 steps just to reach the apartment. With luggage, this is a nightmare. • Basic hospitality is completely absent. No warm welcome, no attempt to accommodate or communicate, just dismissiveness and rudeness.
There are 3 positives about Lorenzo Suites cleaning lady was excellent shower (although creates a mess of the washroom) worked great Convenience shop owner Stelio’s who is located under the apartment is an absolute GEM of a human.
Overall, Lorenzo Studios is a complete joke. For the price, you expect at least comfort, honesty, and basic hospitality — none of...
Read moreThe first thing that I’d like to say about this place is that it is owned by the sweetest family, they were over-the-top generous with us. The owners speak very little English but they went the extra mile to make you feel welcome and comfortable. Always greeting you with smiles and even hugs when we left. ||We were a family of 4 staying for quite a few days so we had 2 bedrooms joined in the middle with a kitchenette and small bathroom. We found it quite comfortable for our stay. The bathroom was a tad squishy but it worked. The kitchen had a little bar fridge and you could cook on a small stove. A nice kitchen table to sit two people and storage space there as well. The best part of it was that it was sparkling clean for us. So important. ||The patio area outside the studio was our favourite place to play cards, enjoy breakfast and look at the view.||So convenient to have a little store to buy snacks and beverages just below the accommodations. ||Only struggle was the amount of stairs to walk down to the centre of town and to the beach and then back up to the apartment. We got our exercise in everyday. ||Really a lovely...
Read moreWe stayed at Mariana and her husbands Studios for 4 nights in June. They are both lovely and so welcoming. Apartment was 2 bedrooms, a very small kitchenette com breakfast area. Both bedrooms had aircon and one a double bed and the other twins. |The apartment was spotless and was cleaned every day while we were out and fresh towels left on our beds. ||If stairs would be a problem then one must note that there are about 30 steps up to the apartments. It is ideal for a short stay as the bathroom is shared in the apartment and the shower is extremely small with no fitted shower head. Makes showering quite hard in an already tight space. No luxuries like a kettle but can use a pot on the small plate fitted in the sink come stove. ||That being said for a 4 day stay this was absolutely perfect and Naoussa is definitely where one wants to be in Paros. Quaint, pretty and lovely atmosphere. The location of the apartment is perfect and just minutes walk to the harbour. ||On your arrival home each night you are met by Mariana and her husband still working in their mini market just below the apartments. Very convenient...
