We were really hungry and wanted some good, quick food in Naousa. We saw people recomending this place on tiktok, and decided it looked cute. The last time we had homemade pasta was in Bari, and it was absolutely delicious.
The service was amazing. Tha prices were what you would expect to find at a restaurant, and the vibes around were chill. We ordered the crab and the mushroom pasta, as well as two aperol spritz (which were apperently bottled drinks you can buy anywhere for 3 euro, we paid 8 for each bottle)
The pasta tasted horrendoues. Neither of us have ever had such bland and sad pasta in our lives, and that's saying a lot as I often resort to simple macaroni and cheese as an easy dinner. There was maybe a spoon of sause for the entire bowl. The mushroom one was especially bad, the mushrooms were chewy and way too big, and the sause was basically non existant.
Even though we were still hungry, we left the pasta by the trash after fighting through a fourth of each bowl. We would've preferred anything over this pasta, litterely anything you can buy in Naousa at a restaurant or grocery store would be better. Why this place has such high ratings we still...
Read moreAfter eating greek food for 2 weeks straight, we were hangin for some pasta when we got to Paros. Found this little place near our hotel, google rating looked good - only wish we'd read the reviews before eating. We ordered Bolognese, pomodoro burrata and carbonara. The serving size was good - possibly enough for 2ppl. Unfortunately all the pastas were completely bland and tasteless. Now we've read some of the reviews, it seems it's not only us that felt this way. Waste of money, if you want delicious pasta, this is not the place.
Response to Nevma - We absolutely did not finish any of the pastas! 1/3 of the way through the meal we all said that we would not fill our stomachs with tasteless pasta and threw them all in the bin! They were 3/4 full still - check your bin. The comment in the beginning was just humourous - that has nothing to do with the quality of your pasta - how is that even relevant? And yes, I have eaten many carbonara's in my life to know that yours was tasteless. We never said we liked...
Read moreThis place was so good, I had to leave a rare review so others will go and enjoy it. The carbonara is amazing— get it. While I was waiting, the owner came out and talked to me for 20 minutes, asking about my travels and Paros. He is a great/nice/young entrepreneur. He just opened Nevma in January and clearly had a passion for the restaurant and his food, so much so that he required if I take it away, I eat the carbonara within 10 minutes to get the full experience. Go there and eat, you...
