Paros Rooms Dora — Hotel in Paros Municipality

Overall the accomodation was good, Katarina was lovely to deal with, and helpful in offering places to eat in the town. We tried all but one of the places she recommended and they were great! Paros Breakfast which she recommended for breakfast was great! The staff very friendly and the selection of homemade pastries were delicious. Bebop for cocktails had an amazing view and Mira for dinner was delicious with good service to match and not overly priced. ||The accomodation is a little way out of Parikia town, Katarina collected us free of charge from the port and dropped us back again. To walk from Paros Rooms to town took about 15minutes, along the main road then down a quiet one way street. The walk can be very hot and tiresome. ||We had booked a deluxe Seaview room and although we did get a Seaview the room was very basic. Two single beds were pushed together with a mattress protector covering them to make it feel like a double. A sheet and two blankets were provided for warmth. You needed to make the bed yourself. Towels, soap and body wash were replenshined twice during our 4 day stay. ||We feel that a few minor improvements in the room would make a huge difference. There was a fridge and some water and others could have been provided, this would’ve been a nice touch. The bathroom was very European and Greek. A handheld shower hose that flooded the bathroom, being from Australia this is not what we’re used to but being a travellers accomodation the ability to have a holder for the shower hose and a curtain would be a nice touch. ||||Overall the accomodation was good value for money and an ok base. This is complex of two buildings - Paros Rooms and Dora Rooms. In Dora almost each room has a sea view, while in Paros Rooms some have access to a nice patio. Clean rooms with complete services. Some have shower over broken, some have other small defects, but in total it is very good. Small public beach few steps downhill. No breakfast. ||||WiFi is available throughout the hotel grounds with a fare but not to high speed. ||||Most of the rooms in Dora have balconies with a sea vie while rooms in Paros have access to terrace and patio. In Paros some rooms have full kitchen. Others offer a kettle. ||||Big parking below the buildings. You will need a car or a bike even though...

We stayed at the Paros Rooms Dora for 7 days and it was more than beautiful! The view from the apartment is breathtaking! Sunset lovers will love it. Also you are very near to the capital city (10mins per feet). They also have free parking. When we arrived with the ferry we were friendly welcomed at the port from Dimitris. He drove us with the car to the apartment and later again to the city to rent a car. They told us very nice places/restaurants/beaches which were all very good!
