Aliprantis Bakery — Restaurant in Paros Municipality

ALIPRANTIS CATERING were our caterers for our wedding. I am rating them 1 for the reasons below:

1- FOOD: We had a food tasting with them, which was very good. Unfortunately, at the day of the wedding, the food was not even close to what we tried. Some items were undercooked and others were cold. OVERALL, THE FOOD WAS BELOW AVERAGE.

2- PRICE: Once we had our first meeting with them (which was a year before the wedding), they asked us for an initial number of guests. They gave us a price per person, which we agreed on. However, a month before our wedding and after we have paid a deposit, they charged a ridiculous price per person since the number of guests were 20% less than anticipated. What made us really frustrated is the fact that they never communicated to us during the whole year that the price will change if the number of guests becomes lower and we were trapped since our wedding was a month away. OVERALL, THE FOOD IS COMPLETELY NOT WORTH WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR.

3- SERVICE: The service in our wedding was not up to the standards. We were cutting the wedding cake and no-one came to assist in cutting the cake for the guests, which shows inexperience in the staff. Moreover, we also had wine in our package and they never followed up to serve wine to our guests and our guests complained to us that the service was not good. OVERALL, THE SERVICE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTING.

4- MENU: The menu that we chose was different than what was served in the wedding. We saw a cheese platter in the buffet, which we never asked for!

If we can go back in time, we would have never chosen them to be our caterer. They are not genuine people and just want your money. OVERALL, THEY ARE NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY...

We had Aliprantis cater for our destination wedding in Paros and they were absolutely fantastic and professional to deal with.

From the moment we arrived for the taste testing at their bakery, they had all the meals prepared and brought in.

The owners and staff are amazing people and really made the dinner service run smoothly.

Now for the food, every single dish was fresh, amazing and in abundance. We chose the family style option and were surprised with how much of each dish came out.

If you are having a wedding in Paros, or any function for that matter, Aliprantis is your answer.

We are hoping they open a restaurant so that we can eat that amazing food again upon our return to that amazing island.
