Maria Studios — Hotel in Sami Municipality

Have been returning to Maria Studios for the past 6 years and it really feels like a home from home. It’s just a short, flat 5-minute walk to the harbour front and tavernas. The studios are well maintained, with lots of beautiful plants upon entering the property, they are spotlessly clean and are owned and looked after by a lovely local family. The bonus for us is the pool, a rare find for Agia Efimia apartments. The accommodation is great value for the price and even includes a separate small kitchen with dining table which is useful for preparing breakfast and picnics. We occasionally have a takeaway meal from Pergola Restaurant just a 2 minute walk away if we return late to the studio and eat outside on the balcony or by the pool. Maria Studios is just a short walk to the harbour front of Agia Efimia with its tavernas, shops, beaches, etc. The property is extremely well maintained and exceptionally clean. Our studio was spacious with a separate bedroom, kitchen diner and balcony. Housekeeping is thorough and bedding/towels frequently changed. The bed was very comfortable. The owner is easily contactable and present and goes the extra mile to ensure guests are comfortable and enjoy their stay. Ho soggiornato in questi studios/residence per ben 5 notti , ma avrei piacevolmente continuato a restarci sino a fine vacanza se non fosse che avevo già prenotato un hotel per il sud dell'isola. La posizione della struttura è strategica, trovandosi a poco dalle spiagge più belle di Cefalonia, Antisamos e Myrtos. Ma proprio nelle vicinanze di questo residence vi sono delle calette davvero belle e più intime. La disponibilità dei proprietari è un altro fiore all'occhiello. Efi e la sorella Maria sono disponibili per qualsiasi info e consigli; in particolare Efi, ci ha accompagnati con la sua auto presso gli studios, ci ha aiutato a cercare uno scooter (impossibile di questi periodi trovarlo). Senza il suo prezioso aiuto non avremmo potuto girare tutto il centro e nord dell'isola, infine ci ha deliziato con biscotti e torte della sua bakery! La bakery si trova sul porticciolo di Agia Efimia, è a conduzione familiare..troverete di tutto dai biscotti al formaggio alle cheese e spinach pies, cornetti e tanto altro fatto da loro! La pulizia è sempre al top, in primis della piscina (caratteristica alquanto rara in Grecia) piacevole e fresca che di sera, incanta con le sue luci; ma anche la camera con angolo cottura sempre pulita e fornita di tutto!
