We booked this hotel for 3 days in August and we were charged 130 per night. At the booking confirmation it was clearly stated (among others) that it was a room with a double bed, balcony and satellite TV. But unfortunately that's not what we found. We were given the room number 5. Definitely, the Hotel was not as it was described by the owners. We were very disappointed because:||1. The room was too small. There is not enough space even to place your luggage. And when we unpacked we were jumping over the luggages as there was no other way to pass. No even a chair to place your handbag.||2. The double bed were 2 singles beds put together||3. The balcony was just ridiculous. There was a window in which you have to climb and then jumb on a small uphill corridor/pathway (?) at the back of the hotel in order to find a table with 2 chairs. I travelled to so many places and i never faced something similar to this.||4. The curtains which were velvet were tied with brown ribbon from a famous confectionery on which it was printed "The house of Sweets".||5. No windows at the bathroom so it smells||6. You cannot open the bathroom door at the same time with the bedrooms' door as there is not enough space||7. No breakfast even with an additional cost as they advertise which believe me its not a big deal. There are so many choices for breakfast all around. But the reason i am mentioning that is because they advertise that they offer breakfast with an additional cost.||8. very poor WIFI connection. The last night we did not had internet at all. But there was nobody to mention the problem, as the receptionists is there for few hours per day.||9. Satelitte TV??? Ha ha ha. We were barely watching the local channels as there was problem with the signal in all of them. ||10. when you open the window you only see a huge wall which was decorated with plastic plants from jumbo. So ridiculous and cheap. And for that reason we could not stay at the room for long. No light, no view, no sea, no sky. Just a wall.||||among that the location is ok. its a central place which is very convenient.||the second day i informed the receptionist about all the above and she offered to refund us with 100 euros which we of course accepted. But these rooms are not worth even the 99 euros per night. You can find much better places to stay and we really regretted we stayed at this hotel, as we somehow spoiled our 3-day holiday.||||The lady tried somehow to excuse all the above by telling me that there must be a mistake in reservations with another couple, which was not true as i called her after the reservation to make sure that everything was ok. and she confirmed that she could see my reservation and everything was fine. After she recalled that i called her she was trying to convince me (in a polite way) that this is an old manor house and all the manors houses are like this. NO. Maybe its time to find out that there manors houses which are so impressive and comfortable as they do not invent rooms and balconies in order to earn more money with their misleading information.||i really don't recommend that place to anyone. There are so many places to stay at the town admiring the sea, the colors and the harbor. I really do not understand how they dare to ask so much money for that....
Read moreWe stayed here for 1 night and booked a triple and double room. The hotel is located 2 minutes walk from the port and is a lovely traditional building. When we arrived there was no one on reception we waited 10 minutes and then called their telephone number, eventually the receptionist arrived! Both the hotel and the rooms are furnished with antique style furniture. The beds were comfortable. The triple room had a double bed and a single in an annex off the room but the air con unit only served the double bed so sleeping in the single was very hot. The double room had 2 single beds. In both rooms there were the smallest bathrooms I have ever seen. The shower was on the wall opposite the toilet no curtain and so small you had to sit on the toilet to use, hence the entire room became soaked. The staff were not very friendly we asked if they could book a taxi to take us to the airport the next day and we were told they can't as they didn't have the number. Also, the sheets on one of the beds in the double room, although clean, were blood stained. Lastly, you can...
Read moreWe chose this hotel as it looked like a traditional old house with lovely antique furniture and that was the case. Our room was small but comfortable but there were no easy chairs to sit on, just the bed. ||||The location was great, just one street behind the seafront. It was very clean and peaceful but really not worth the €70 paid. We have since stayed in far cheaper and much nicer places in Skiathos for half the price.||||The biggest problem was the bathroom as it was so very small. The shower head and control (there was no separate cubicle) hung in the walk adjacent to the toilet and was so close to the toilet roll holder that we both accidentally soaked ourselves by knocking the shower head and turning it on when reaching for the toilet paper!||||May be we were just...
