The Final Step — Restaurant in Skiathos Municipality

My wife booked this restaurant ahead of us going on holiday. I emailed Pam later that week to explain how it was my wife's birthday on that date and could she arrange a personalised birthday cake. Her communication was great and when we arrived that evening, there were balloons and a banner too! My wife was surprised and very happy. We had the best view across Skiathos, which was another big tick. The food that followed was nothing short of sensational. (I should point out that this was the last evening meal of our holidays & we had been to several good quality restaurants prior to this to compare with). The scallops to start were divine. I had the fillet steak for main and my wife had seafood tagliatelle with chilli. Our teenage kids had chicken supreme and lemon pasta. We all loved our dishes and all plates were picked clean. We arranged a dinner party for all the ‘girls’ of our bridal party here and what an exceptional event it was: not only because of the view but because Pam and her team went the extra mile in every respect! From pre-arrangements by email, to final tweaking the day before, everything was sorted seamlessly. On the evening, the 12 person setting was beautifully arranged, drinks were set up and offered on arrival….more like an event planner had set it up than a restaurant. This is a little tricky to find but well worth the effort. In a very crowded market this was by far the best restaurant we dined in and we ate at several during our 2 weeks. The dining experience is superb the food and wine exceptional. The place is run in a very cool and laid back mannered lady called Pam and her small but attentive team. Staff can be difficult to find and retain in Skiathos town and this team are really hard working. Really genuine people serving excellent food and oh the view is to die for.
