This place is a welcoming brunch-cafe located at Skiathos new port area. The owners and the waitresses know how to make you feel welcome in the place and in Skiathos in general. Meltemi (The Wind of August) is located on the waterfront of Skiathos’ new port. It is a family run business; Mom, Dad, and son. We went there in October 2021, which is off-season time. The food was very good and presented nicely. The service is impeccable as Yannis (The son) knows how to handle his customers in friendly attitude and finds a time for a short and helpful chat. The English breakfast left a lot to be desired, the sausages were 2 fun size hot-dog sausages and the bacon was like the German 'speck'. Fried eggs were good though. What was provided certainly filled a hole but I think the €14 price tag relied on the fact there was bread, jam and tea.
