Stayed at the Olia Green hotel for 10 nights with my wife in late June. Hotel is classed as 3 plus and is in a great location next to the beach and walking distance to Skopelos Town. The hotel is modern, well maintained and kept spotlessly clean. The standard rooms are big enough for two people and have a small balcony with table and chairs. All rooms are equipped with fridge, ice cube freezer, safe, hair dryer, iron, TV, WI-FI. The showers are excellent, beds really comfortable and very cooling and quiet air conditioner, everything really you could want equipment wise.
The pool is infinity style, long enough to take a swim and has several four poster style sun beds and conventional sun loungers with parasols.
The pool bar is used for serving breakfasts where you can eat inside or outside and is very relaxing first thing in the morning. The choice of food is excellent and additionally homemade jams and pies both savoury and sweet are available daily.
The hotel also provides sun loungers with parasols by the beach which via an app you can be served food and drinks from the pool bar. The only negative with the hotel is the beach area where the loungers should be brushed clean each morning and are a bit hard with no cushion fitted. It would also make the beach more appealing If the dead sea weed washed up on the beach was removed each day but that’s it.
What makes this place special are the staff’s attentiveness and I’d like to thank Marie and Magda in particular for being so friendly and helpful during our stay,...
Read moreStayed here for 1 week with my partner, daughter and her friend at the end of May. We booked 2 double rooms with sea view which were spotlessly clean, the beds were really comfortable and it was very quiet. I'd emailed ahead to ask for the rooms to be close together on a higher floor, this was no problem and had already been arranged prior to my email anyway. We could not recommend this lovely little place enough, nothing was ever too much trouble to any of the staff regardless of the request. The people here make this place as special as it is, you become part of their family and literally do not want to leave when it's time to go home. Special mentions to Denise, Anna-Maria and Eva for everything you did for us, you made our holiday unforgettable. The quality of the food and drinks were exceptional, the breakfast was our favourite with lots of variety. The pool area was gorgeous, always kept very clean and tidy. The location of hotel is perfect, just at the other side of the horseshoe bay in Skopelos Town, with a short 5-10 minute walk to the main area with lots of Tavernas, cafes, bars and shops. We will definitely be back for...
Read moreMyself and my Partner went here for our first holiday abroad together. It was a package holiday with Jet2. The whole thing was very disappointing. However specificity about the hotel, the staff were extremely friendly. However it was let down as it wasn’t at all like that photos and we had a few complications during our stay. There was no umbrellas by the pool until our 2nd or 3rd day with only a few sun loungers. Our bed sheet never got changed during our stay as there was the same stain when the night we arrived to the night we left (7 days) and our smoke alarm in the rooms battery died and kept beeping so had to stay in and wait for someone to change them. They was helpful and apologised for this however you would believe the checks would have been done prior. The breakfast was also not great and always cold. It was a nice hotel but not worth the money. Next time we would simply go to another area all together. Other...
