Melikari Hotel — Hotel in Skyros Municipality

I visited Skyros island with my friends, for the first time. Our accommodation was Melikari Hotel, which is placed in Molos area, nearby the long beach Magazia. Melikari hotel is a cossie, quiet, peaceful and beautiful place to stay. There is a big area full of grass and trees around the apartments and in the center is placed a wonderful pool with a bar to have your coctAils and coffee. The staff and the owners are very kind and friendly. The hotel also provides breakfast buffet with a big variety of greek and international tastes, like cheese-pie, greek bread with marmalade and honey, cheese, juices and tasteful greek fruits. It was an amazing stay at Melikari Hotel. The Hotel is runned by a Family which is just amazing - they are very nice and take care of any "problem" or wish you got. The Pool is great, it got a depth from 0,7m to 3m which i didnt expect to be honest. Only the beds are a bit hard, but that was not an issue for me as i like it that way - other guests said that it was a bit to hard - but not uncomfortable. The rooms are not modern, but they are clean and they are comfortable. You can reach the Beach within 5 Minutes if you take a slow walk, there are a few great restaurants near by, and the Taxis to the City are pretty cheap compared to many other places (6€).

We had a truly unforgettable stay at this beautiful hotel/bungalow with my wife and our two kids. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The surrounding nature was stunning, with well-kept gardens and plenty of room for the kids to play safely. Breakfast was a real highlight — fresh and a variety that suited all our tastes. We also enjoyed the pool which was clean and never too crowded. This place strikes a perfect balance between relaxation for adults and fun for children. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and already thinking about when we can return. Highly recommended...
