Golden Beach Inn — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

We have stayed at Golden Beach Inn in Chrissi Ammoudia, Thassos, from the 12thSept-20th Sept, in a two-storey apartment. It had the bedroom upstairs, with two balconies, one facing the mountain, the other facing the Golden Beach, with a stunning view, and downstairs a kitchenette with an electric stove (very handy for preparing breakfast and meals for kids,babies), and what else needed (glasses, plates, forks, spoons, we asked for a pan and a pot and we got them), also with a balcony facing the sea and inner yard where one could barbecue if wanted. Also downstairs there was a sofa, bathroom, TV. ||There was always hot water, the room maid, Mrs Anastasia cleaned and changed towels daily and was very kind and spoke English.||We requested a baby-cot and we were given one, comfortable it seems, 'cause the baby-girl slept pretty well in it ;)||The owners, Mr Dimitris and his wife were also very kind and gave us directions for few places to visit, and how to get to their establishment, since we arrived pretty late at night.||The location is very good, on a hill, but not very difficult to climb as some say on the Internet, since I managed pretty well to go up and down with my baby in her stroller. It takes about 5 min to go to the beach. The view it's amazing, from balcony we could see the entire bay, Potamia on the right, beautifully lighted at night, and the entire sea. ||||The entrance in water was slow, which is a plus for families with babies and kids, and the beach was all soft sand.||||In our opinion, a good place...

It was written that the room has a sea view and a balcony. The room's description had nothing to do with the reality. When we went there the room was on the grand floor without a balcony, and our door was behind the staircase. When opening our door we were seeing the back side of the staircase instead of the sea. There was no flat screen and no TV signal and the wifi was too poor. The room had only one very small window hence we had to turn on the lights in the middle of the day due to the darkness Edit: 26/9/2023 After leaving my review, the manager contacted me, calling me 9 times during noon, to discuss about my review and the reason behind it. Looking for a peaceful place to relax? Golden Beach Inn offers you a calm holiday just at a 5-minute walk to the beautiful beach of Chrisi Amoudia or the so called Golden Beach of Thassos. We stayed at a studio at Golden Beach Inn in the beginning of October - the last tourists for the summer season. We were lucky to find that place - a wonderful studio, a marvelous sea view, very clean and comfortable accommodation, very well equipped. The owner Dimitris is a very kind person and is always ready to help the holidaymakers. He speaks perfect english so communication is easy. Wifi access and parking places available for all tourists. We strongly recommend it and we hope to come back there for a secon wonderful holiday...
