Enavlion — Hotel in Thassos Municipality

I’ve returned after 8 years. Remain by far the best fine dining restaurant in the island: the location, the staff, the services. No matter what we’ve selected from the menu, fulfill even the highest culinary expectation. This time it was a mix of chooses, all of them at its best: seafood in cheese blend and saffron, beef file in Porto wine, grilled pork file with aubergine mousse and cheese blend and seafood variety fried with tartar spice where where octopus croquettes where sensational.||The chocolate mousse as a compliments from the house made with butter added the sweet flavor of the evening and compensate the appetizer offered from the house but charged at the end.||And regarding this appetizers from “the house”, as suggestions: as long as are included in the bill, better to ask before if the customers are allergic to something or adapt it to the persons at the table: the ones received by us were tasteful but very spicy with 2 small kids at the table and one adult allergic. ||Looking forward to return ones again here.||Until then, best compliments to Mr. Batagiannis.||Kind...

We had a meal at La Terrasse - Enavlion's restaurant. Firstly I can not fault the food. It was very very good - not the best in resort, but close. We were also served by a delightful waiter called Panos who did very well and was very helpful. There are two problems. They have two sittings 7pm and 9.30pm. Neither is ideal for us but we chose 7. The second issue is the tables are packed in too close together. They sat us next to a table of two families who's kids were playing computer games and shouting, screaming and leaping up and down. The parents did nothing. Rather than asking them to control their kids the owner / manager seemed to cozy up to them, high fiving one. This spoiled what was supposed to be a special, silver service evening and we won't be going back. Such a shame. Well done Panos and the chef. The rest left us cold really. This is our 4th year we came back because we feel very welcome. And we are not the only one.|This is a family hotel and the Batagianni family feels like our family. They are all so welcoming and friendly, it is a pleasure to spend time with them.|We recommended this hotel to many of our friends and they also come back every year.||The rooms, very clean, have entrance from outside, with a little terrace on front. They have shower gel and shampoo made locally that are so indulging. |The hotel is on a hill and the upper floor rooms have a beautiful sea view. All the others are surrounded by beautiful flowers. |The restaurant is an open terrace, the food is spectacular and the desserts even more.
