Janno Beach Hotel — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

Our stay early July 2017 just outside of the busy Laganas area (which wasn't our preferred target anyhow) was a good choice.|We stayed 7 nights here.||A nice looking hotel, direct acces to the beach but with its own back yard, a good pool and good sunbeds, etc. The bar nearby was above expectations pleasant/relaxed bar to hang around/drink/eat. Nice to enjoy some shade sometimes, watch f1, etc.|It's worthwhile staying around an evening and take a nice meal there instead of going out.|Breakfast as we were told is very basic, but ok. Good enough gaining energy to start the day and we think worth taking (not expensive).||The rooms are basic, don't expect much from cooking using the cooking plates. Then again, prices for eating in Greece are that attractive and fine quality, so why bother. The fridge is fine to have some cold water in your room if you like.|Rooms are very clean as well as the whole building and terrain. The whole place is well maintained.|The only recommendation for this hotel to improve we have is the beds. These are pretty hard, somewhat less comfortable.||Pleasant guests, mixed, no fuzz. Dutch, Danish mostly.|The accomodations thus is of good quality. The staff excellent. Very friendly, service oriented and helpfull. There's no question too much and making your holiday a pleasant stay.|Airco is good (seperate pay), internet is good enough and worth paying €10 per week for.||We hired a car late evening for next morning and the hotel staff helped arranging, no extra. The car was being brought next day to your hotel and picked up same place a day later. Enjoyed driving around the island.|We recommend hiring a boat yourself and enjoy turtle spotting. Is seperate from hotel, easy renting and not very expensive (we paid €70 for 2 hours and another day €40 for one hour). No reservations needed, plenty of places to rent them. We rented closest by. Followed instructions from the boat rental, it's easy taking the boat yourself "sailing" a 30 horsepowered boat in our case around a island nearby, see caves etc. And spot turtles not far from Laganas beach. We spotted several fairly easy and swim with them. Awesome!||Great places to eat:|Panos (good quality eating, not expensive, nice atmosphere "inside" if you don't bother the busy extravagant crowd outside; it didn't bother us).|Apperito (very good quality food, great place and view at/above sea side, worth the couple extra euro's)||Enjoy. We stayed here for 10 nights, two adults and two children. The rooms were clean, and the friendly staff and owner were always there to help. We arrived at the hotel at 9:00 AM and were immediately shown to our room. Unfortunately, it was on the top floor, and due to an unfortunate situation, my wife had a neurological problem with her legs, which had been getting worse in recent weeks. They immediately arranged for us to have a room without having to climb stairs. We had a wonderful time there, and so did our grandchildren. The hotel is indeed right on the beach, which...

I just returned from Zakynthos and Hotel Janno Beach. We stayed there for ten days with my friends and I can say that we really enjoyed our stay. If you are not expecting * hotel, you will be satisfied (most time of your stay you will be outside from the room). The rooms are clean, breakfast sufficient (ham, cheese, bread, coffee, tea, yoghurt, ect ...), the staff is friendly and helpful.
