The dirtiest beach I've been to. Almost disgusting. You go into the water and you find little puddles of cigarette bottoms. On the bus stop there are tenths of scooters and other cars parked almost in the water. The coastline is long, there are sunbeds, you can get a 20euro ride to chaise turtles, which is rather repulsive when you finally understand how this happens. Tenths of boats make circles around and above a (single, yes) turtle until it comes out.... anyway. Many tavernas and options to eat and drink. Sadly there's also a lot of drunk kids, making the mess that nobody seems to clean. I literally saw some girls with plastic cups in their hands in the middle of the swim area when I was passing by.

The beach is connected to Kalamaki and Cameo Island. You can find a quiet or a busy spot - it's big. But the tourists and lack of (self)control have ruined it.

Otherwise it has the potential (and probably was) the typical (sandy) best...

Possibly one of the worse beaches I’ve ever been to. The actual beach is tiny. Barely a few meters wide. It’s packed with lots of bars and restaurants which some are OK but it’s a complete tourist trap. We went down to check it out and turned around immediately and left. Definitely for a younger crowd just not for us. There are much better beaches...

It's no wonder why you don't see any Greeks going there. A long average tourist trap beach. I understand that it's great comparing to the river that you go swimming back home, but you're in Zakynthos for God's sake. Open your eyes get on a car and explore the beautiful coastline...

Nice sandy beach. Water is rather clear and not deep far into the sea. There is also some sediment that can be used to have like a body scrub. It is grayish and to apply mix with water and apply to skin and leave to dry. After wards you can rinse it off.
