History War Museum — Attraction in Zakynthos Municipality

A small museum with great impact! I visited the History War Museum with my children and we were all impressed. Although the museum is small, it’s full of meaningful exhibits and rare historical pieces. The guided tour was excellent — engaging, informative, and perfectly adapted to younger visitors. My kids were truly excited and even managed to learn a few things about history they'll be studying at school this year. The 3D exhibits were also a big hit! Great experience for everyone who's interested in ww2 and the korean warfare. Very beautiful and detailed scenes made by the owner. The museum is quite small but with the right amount of knowledge and fascination the museum covers that up. The owner is very kind and I recommend to have a chat with him. There are many interesting stories to hear... Overall I loved the visit and recommend to everyone else.

Museum represent participation of greek soldiers in three wars: WWII, Korean and Vietnam. Original guns, cars uniforms and other artifacts from those wars. The host is also a great guide. Some of the exhibits are exposed in the near by Galaxy hotel: jeeps in the courtyard and old XIX c. weapons in the demifirst floor next to the lobby.
