I recently had the pleasure of dining at country steakhouse, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. We went to this restaurant for an evening meal during our holiday for a change from the all inclusive buffet from our hotel. It was busy on the night we went as a lot of the other restaurants in the area were closed, and the waiters were some times literally running back and forth to the kitchen, but they were still friendly and efficient. The food took a while to come but we didn't feel we had waited too long in the circumstances, especially as you get complimentary bread and dips followed by complimentary bruchettas before your meal. The only reason I've only given 4 stars instead of 5 for the food is because there's not a lot of vegetarian options, although this seems pretty standard in the local restaurants here and the menu at this place was better than some others I've seen. I had vegetarian fajitas and my partner had pesto pasta, not exactly what you may class as 'traditionally Greek' but they were both fresh and really tasty. I should point out that there is a traditional Greek section to the menu so if that's what you're looking for you won't be disappointed. The outdoor seating area is really lovely and the price was very reasonable too. We paid just under 40EUR for a starter, 2 main courses, a cocktail and a soft drink.
