Meridien Beach Hotel — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

The safety of the guests is not endured by the hotel! We got attacked in our room by a drunken hooligan who had the room next to us! The guy broke the room door and started punching my partner because we asked him to lower his voice at midnight! He was swearing for 2 hours now in the balcony and felt offended by our request. The 1 staff that was in the hotel, came after the attack and did not call the Police, asked us not to call the Police, said nothing to the attacker. He just took us to another room on another side of the hotel. In the next morning the Manager was not there to talk to us as we had been told in the evening and avoided us for the entire stay. The attacker was leaving the next day so they didn't bother do say or do anything. I am curious what would they have done if he had more nights to stay… The receptionist was a little amused(!!) by our shock and said there is nothing they can do. Seriously?? What is the guy had a weapon?(we all gad a chicinete with knives, forks, glasses, etc) We could have been seriously injured.

We got absolutely no support from the hotel after this horrible event.

The hotel location and view are nice. The rooms are outdated and the bathroom needs to be refurbished.( a bit of mold in the corners of the tub, dated faucets, not really clean as it should be) The breakfast is same everyday and you get a fix amount of ham/cheese/bread/etc. The coffee is horrible, and they charge you if you ask for another type of coffee.( cappucino for ex) The rooms that have the door at the main street are very noisy, you cant sleep. You can hear the neighbour is they talk or use the restroom. I don't recommend it because of the lack of responsibility from the staff and the rest...

Excellent hotel! Perfect location! All the staff are polite and friendly and do their jobs with great excellence! The room was spotless/clean, air-con is super and very quiet! ...Pictures of the rooms can be found around the internet so I will add that the tv is now flat screen type... Free wi-fi is excellent. Bathroom is large and features a tub with a 3 way shower assembly, "rain" plus an individual "mounted" or "hand held" shower all very versatile plus there is a very large bathroom sink and surround and a massive mirror, reminded me of an IHG hotel. Kitchen features portable electric hotplate, a kettle, sink and fridge. There is a large double closet with a long hanging rail for many clothes hangers, plenty of cupboards, large dresser/sideboard and another massive mirror. Two strong single beds with night stands. Walking out to a patio or balcony there is a heavy duty bug net on a rail to slide to one side plus double doors on rails, the inner doors must be closed up so as the air-con electrics can activate. I can honestly say that my wife and I were very impressed and felt that hotel's star rating should be higher. The hotel is in the majority occupied...

I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Meridien Hotel. From our group of 7 people, only 3 were allowed to stay at this hotel, while the others were sent for one night to another hotel, with the excuse that there were pipe problems (not to mention that in the triple room the shower drain was almost completely blocked, and the water was backing up). On top of that, when we checked in at the other hotel, we had to wait a long time for the staff(to wake up) and when we finally received the room, instead of 2 double rooms (for 4 people), they tried to give us just one. The whole situation was completely unprofessional. When we finally received our rooms we had the two rooms next to the laundry room and garbage bins( in the middle of the night was an awful noise when they started to move them outside and starting with 6 am the cleaning staff started to slam the doors, laugh and speak very loud and not to mention the noise from the washing machines.
