TLDR: Below average food for above average prices.

In Zakynthos and Greece in general you can expect a good baseline for both quality and price; this fails to meet either of these. While both service and Location were excellent the food was severely lacking.

Here is the full rundown: Pizza: definitely the greatest offender; more comparable to supermarket pizza than a restaurant pizza. The dough was chewy, thickest at the center with no crust. There was very little sauce but the cheese was fine. 3/10 at that price (about €11.50 for a margherita).

Penne with cream: Had exactly one flavor: garlic.

Octopus: Generally decent though still below average for taste with some truly depressing portion sizes. Two octopus tentacles for €20 is a little offensive.

Meatballs: The friend who ordered them likened them to cantine food (€15).

Mixed saganki: stand-out dish by comparison, generally good but still below expectations given the above...

If you are in Argassi this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I had the sirloin steak and it was the best steak I have had for many years. Cooked to perfection and lovely and tender much like a fillet and a huge steak. We were a party of 6 and our food was all great and service fantastic A family run restaurant with Mama doing the cooking. Very attentive and friendly. Hugh fans to keep you cool which was a bonus in July. Don't be put off by the price of cocktails as they were double the size as anywhere else we had been and frankly the best tasting. This restaurant is in the first floor, it qbout 25 steps. We had a dinner- Serenity dish for two (40 €) seafood and fishes in spicy tomato sauce infused with white wine. The shrimps, salmon and mussels were perfect. Unfortunately as a side dish we had only one boiled potato, half a carrot and cabbage. It was not enough for two and they didn't go well with this dish, they weren't very flavored or salted. Maybe the bread instead of this would be better. They have cloth tablecloths here, which is a nice change from the paper ones they have everywhere else. Very nice...
