Pettas Apartments — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

|It was our first time in Zakynthos and we stayed here for 4 nights. I wish we stayed longer,honestly. |The hosts are very nice and helpful, they even came and picked us from the airport without charging us. They also helped us with the car renting. And it's nothing like car rentals. That means that you don't have to pay in advance for an insurance or garancy. On the contract it's stipulated a sum to pay if somwthing happens with the car. And that's it. So much easier.| The building is big and it has many spacious apartments. You have a spacious kitchen with everything you need to cook your own food, a big bathroom with a very good shower& toilet and even shaving kit, ear sticks, shower gels& shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste and a hairdryer in the bathroom. The bedroom is big: you have a big bed and a sofa and other pieces of furniture and also a balcony from where we enjoyed a morning coffee& a beer in the evening and see the mountains. It was a pleasure to come back in the evening after a full day and spend time on the balcony. |This place is situated near the downtown, has a supermarket behind the building, a bakery and also a pharmacy very close. It's also important to know that it has a huge terrace where you cand spend your time in the evening& even have a grill over there if you're a group of people. It also has a big parking lot. |10/10 definitely...

The owner is very agressive. He has a war attitude with customers. It screams at customers and scary children around. There were in the hotel clients who were charged for imaginary damages in the room. He scream at those customers to pay imediately cash, even they weren't check out in this day. As you can see in pictures he want 400e if you damage a piece of sheet of the furniture. When you check in nobody shows you that everything is in perfect condition. They enter in your room many times per day to close the air condition or verify you. Is very unconfortable. Every time when entering you room they give the fridge to the minimum. My food was spoiled and the drinks were almost hot when i came back from the beach. |If fact, there are no appartments, but studios. There is no living room with dofa as it is in descrition.|The score of this hotel on booking does not reflect the reality. I was relying on booking score when choosing hotels. Now, reading internet good sources, I understud that Booking.com increase artificially the score for the properties who pay a fee for that.... The owner ask us an extra fee of 1% for card payment. After two calls with booking he cancel this extra...

Struttura costituita da un palazzetto di due piani con circa 20 camere. Vista panoramica nessuna. Posto molto rumoroso situato fra due strade molto trafficate a tutte le ore anche da mezzi pesanti, questo rende impossibile dormire con le finestre aperte. Balcone piuttosto piccolo e con vista su uno spoglio giardino interno e avvolro dsl rumore del traffico a tutte le ore. Camera abbastanza spaziosa arredi recenti ma di gusto discutibile. Vecchio e squallido armadio a muro posto nel disimpegno di fronte al bagno. Bagno moderno ma molto piccolo con lavabo di dimensioni mignon. Asciugacapelli del tipo da parete in posizione decisamente scomoda a circa due metri di altezza. Angolo cottura posto subito dopo l"ingresso, vecchio e con allestimenti limitati, non c'è il forno; fornelli a gas con bombola, tostapane e bollitore, pentolame limitato. Porta di ingresso di fianco af angolo cottura fatta di una porta scorrevole in vetro opaco, quindi luce che ti invade al mattino essendo esposta a est e rumori esterni che passano tutti. Personale di servizio e gestori molto rumorosi al mattino quando iniziano le pulizie verso le 8,30, urlano fra di loro fra una camera e l,altra o fra un piano e l altro creando un baccano insopportabile.|Gestore supponente ed arrogante, nulla a che vedere con la ospitalità greca che ho apprezzato nelle ormai decine di volte che sono stato su isole greche o ad Atene.|Avevo chiesto una camera al primo piano e al nostro arrivo ci vuole dare una al piano terra dicendo che le richieste dei clienti sono soggette a disponibilità; gli faccio presente che avevo prenotato ad aprile e quindi ben 5 mesi prima con tutto il tempo quindi per organizzarsi per la mia richiesta; ma poi guarda caso é uscita fuori una stanza al primo piano.|Non avendo del tutto gradito la sistemazione il pomeriggio del nostro arrivo ho contattato Booking per chiedere se era possibile accorciare la nostra permanenza rispetto ai giorni prenotati; Booking ha contattato il gestore e questo indispettito ha proceduto con l'addebito dell'intero soggiorno sulla mia carta di credito; cosa lecita in base alle condizioni contrattuali ma in tanti miei soggiorni all'estero grecia compresa non mi era mai successo. Alle mie rimostranze il gestore molto indispettito mi ha chiaramente detto che ha fatto subito l'addebito dello intero importo del soggiorno perché mi sono permesso chiamare Booking e rappresentare la mia insoddisfazione per la sustemazione. Inoltre l'incapace gestore nel fare l'addebito non ha usato la preautorizzazione fatta oltre 30 giorni prima bloccando il relativo importo sulla carta di credito, quindi mi sono trovato bloccato sulla mia carta un importo doppio rispetto al costo del soggiorno. Avendo ormai pagato ho chiesto lo sblocco della preautorizzazione ovviamente, ma per farlo ci sono voluti giorni ed un mio intervento presso il gestore che ha dovuto chiamare la banca per fare lo storno avvenuto un giorno dopo la mia partenza. |In sintesi soggiorno per niente piacevole in un posto anonimo e un po' caotico con gestore indisponente e supponente e personale di servizio veramente rumoroso. Dulcis in fundo i problemi con la carta di credito per il doppio addebito!|Prezzo nella media.|Sconsigliato se si vuole godere di una piacevole vacanza, buono per...
