The food was very tasty. We liked it a lot. We had some starters that we shared between us: chalumi, saganaki and spinich pie, all 3 were delicious, but I think our winner was saganaki. We saw on the menu after we ordered the kiounefe that sounds really interesting and wish we would've tried that. For the main dish we had: greek pasta and sea food platter for 2 and the portions were big, we struggled a bit at the end. The pastas were a bit basic, but still a good meal if you want something that you are used to and the platter for 2 had plenty of shrimps, mussels (in garlic, I think), calamari and octopus -it comes with french fries and some vegies. Overall, we were really happy with our experience and we highly recommend this place, even for tourists. And don't be afraid to try even...
Read moreWe arrived around 8pm. Were given a table and sat down to order. Waitress was lovely. The food arrived. The mussels were not in shells and were rubbery and overcooked. Clearly frozen. The Greek salad - the salad was fresh. The feta was disgusting and not like any other I’ve eaten in the island. No olive oil, balsamic or vinegar on the table. My friend had chicken slouvaki, he said it’s the worst he has had in 30 years of visiting this island. Even the poor cat that frequents the restaurant being gaunt and skinny didn’t want any of it either. Not surprised. As we were eating a Roma gypsy arrived with an accordion bothering people trying to eat and begging for money. We will never return and will make sure that other tourists are not ripped off by this...

As far as the food goes, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great - the spaghetti bolognese was made with linguini that was a bit over cooked. Despite that, the meat sauce had a great flavor, and we really enjoyed our cheese croquettes. The only dish I was very disappointed with was the octopus in vinegar, which I’m 99% positive was just canned octopus.
The atmosphere and the place was very nice, right on the port, great...
