My wife and i didnt enjoy our stay...our room on the first night didnt have any toilet paper and there are so many signs on the walls of how to act or behave and the room was boiling. The woman who owns the hotel was very focused on money and it being in cash. Overall really uncomfortable vibe being there.
The shower is horrible- its only freezing or turns boiling hot. There are no other modes.
We also noticed someone stole 60 USD from our suitcase. We stayed here 2 nights, my wife kept the money in her suitcase in a special wallet. Read moreIf you’re looking for a home away from home while you’re in Guatemala City, I highly recommend you stay at Novo Hostal. It’s a beautiful bed and breakfast, owned by a mother and daughter team, located in a gated community a few minutes from the airport. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. Lucita took great care of me during my stay. I was beyond thankful she spoke English, because my Spanish is limited to hello, please, thank you, water and bathroom! When I left Guatemala City to head back to the U.S., I felt as though I stayed...
